I was able to easily add my WiFi Extender
not working for iOS 26.2
Inoperative for iOS 26.2
Doesn’t work- app in unfunctional
All I was trying to do is setup my new extender and the app is completely unusable. It work into you get to connect to wife screen and then it just freeze and won’t let you move on I’ve tried deleting the app, I’ve tried restarting my phone. Just doesn’t work

Simply does not work: an exercise in frustration that sends users on a merry-go-round of resetting the unit to factory default, entering network passwords umpteen times, creating new usernames and passwords — only to restart the device after which, the device will recognize the modem, agree that there is internet connectivity as far as the modem, but the repeater / extender is incapable of providing internet connectivity itself.
Have tried this right next to the modem, within 2 meters of the modem, within 3 meters of the modem with no result at all.
Having “factory reset” the unit, find that a network name I assigned is preserved, which doesn’t seem possible if the factory reset functioned.
The app is incapable of updating drivers or firmware; and English instructions are semi-literate.
So unless this is a clever way for hackers to get your network password, the app is entirely useless.
Will be returning this unit and deleting this app.

Surprisingly bad
App has an antiquated feel. Failed numerous times during setup. Very limited range of function. They must want you to use ai-Mesh or WPS to setup. But no customization using those methods.

После последнего обновления прошивки в январе 2024 г. на rp-ax58 расширитель перестал работать как aimesh устройство…роутер gs-ax3000 его видит, но добавить не может…теперь rp-ax58 работает только как репитер и то получается только расширить через это приложение…больше в жизне не свяжусь с asus…все испортили… не послушал людей лучше бы с кинетик заморачивался

It keeps popping up a window that says I need to turn on location settings for it to be able to map my devices. The exact message: “ ASUS Extender needs your location permission to find ASUS router(s) in the environment. Please go to Setting
-> Apps -> ASUS Extender to allow access to this device's location.”

Always crashes when I try to connect to the extender on app. Useless

All this app does is crash. ASUS really put the D team on this one. Complete dog water. Fix this garbage or let me add the extender via the ASUS Router app which actually works most of the time.

L'application se ferme constamment, et il est impossible de la configurer comme indiqué dans le manuel peu clair fourni lors de l'achat du RP-AX56 Extended, censé être convivial. Il est nécessaire de revoir la simplicité de l'installation et la suite des opération. Je suis très insatisfait de l’application extended de asus d'autant plus qu'aucun support et manuel en français n'était inclus dans la boîte, ce qui est anormal. Je pense qu'une révision de l'application est nécessaire, car il n'est pas normal de ne pas pouvoir utiliser toutes les fonctionnalités sans que l’app ferme seule. 🤬
