This app is hot garbage and should be updated more frequently to better support the ata robot. The design looks like it was made by a toddler and the firmware update feature does not work.

Like others, had some problems setting up with WiFi. Once sorted that out, seemed to be decent enough. But . . .
* seems to drop connections too frequently and only way to reset appears to be to physically turn the robot off then back on, which renders its usefulness for remote use moot
* have the laser pointer option. At first, it would occasionally not recognize the laser pointer which could be resolved by exiting and then reconnecting to the robot. But now even that doesn’t work and it does not recognize the laser at all
* controls in the app overlap making it difficult or impossible to use some functions
* have it set in sentry mode which worked at first but hasn’t recorded anything in past five days
* videos created in sentry mode aren’t playable in the app nor can they be played on a computer from the SD card. In other words, sentry mode doesn’t appear to actually record videos
Had considered getting two of these but am now glad I only got one. And now I sometimes think getting even one was a mistake.
Update: App seems to get worse with each update. With latest update, app name no longer in English and controlling the robot is jerkier than ever.
Update #2: Now the app won’t even load which makes the robot unusable.
Update #3: App loads again but now battery appears to have charging issues and drains fast.

No Support!
A number of us in a Facebook group are having problems with network connectivity and Aionios is not responding to any of us via their support channels. It’s a brick. Don’t buy it!

Broken app
The app was just working yesterday, today the app was stuck on loading screen and failed to connect. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, entered the code and got an error message every time. Please fix this.

Connectivity and input issues
Usually pretty bad delay input. Laser point feature hasn’t worked over the last few updates
Connection frustration
Bought two units through the KickStarter project. Arrived two weeks ago and yet to get either unit connect and/or function yet. Until they can get it to work I wouldn’t suggest to anyone.
Wifi issues?
Not having any luck connecting with wifi, using my iPhone 15 pro max ? Hopefully I didn’t waste my money and time.
WiFi not able to connect
The fact I have to type in my WiFi name and not chose from a list of available networks is already an issue and the fact the I type in my password and WiFi name 10x times and still does not work is extremely frustrating after waiting so long for this product and help funding it.

This has and continues to be the worst product. Still doesn’t work and, still no answers to countless emails. REFUND!!!
Difficult to Control
I’ve used various phone-based controllers but this is simply poorly coded. The little circle you use to steer the vehicle jumps all over the place. When I put my thumb on it, much of the time it jumps in the opposite direction (turning the toy at the same time) and then maybe going the way I want it to go after a fashion. It’s too bad as the unit itself is extremely well built but the poor software ruins the experience.

Can’t get past “loading.”
User info not helpful. Can’t remember my VERY SIMPLE wifi user name and password.
Unable to set up
Unable to set up it keeps telling me the password is wrong and I KNOW it is not. Very frustrating as I have been waiting for this for a long time
Well Designed
Robot from a hardware perspective is well designed and of high quality however software requires some work. Suggest as another reviewer mentioned to make interface look more professional. Some functions work sporadically and it should search for available WiFi networks vs having to manually enter SSID. A great enhancement for the feature dock would be a GPS module that would allow for recorded patrols and allow for automatic return to wireless charging doc. Also how do order additional wireless charging stations?

Does not work
The app just says loading. The robot just keeps power cycling. Not a good product. It’s like they did not even test these units before shipping them.
Won’t Load - Doesn’t Work
Received unit but constantly reboots and app stuck with spinning loading icon. Doesn’t work. I waiting months for an expensive paper weight.
