About
Ate List is where you keep your own restaurant rankings — and see your friends'.
Not a review site. There are no strangers here, no star averages, no sponsored placements. Just the people you actually trust, and what they'd send you to.
8 IS THE WHOLE IDEA
A score of 8 or more means one thing: you'd send a friend there. Below 8 means you wouldn't. Every list holds eight, so keeping something means letting something go — which is what makes the eight worth reading.
HOW A SCORE HAPPENS
You say how the meal was, and tap what was good or bad about it. That's the score. Position doesn't decide it; the score decides position. When two are tied and the app can't tell them apart, it asks you — but only within a list, because "is this beef noodle better than that beef noodle" has an answer and "is congee better than steak" doesn't.
A LIST PER FOOD, NOT ONE BIG PILE
Your 牛肉麵, your 拉麵, your 蛋撻 — separate lists, separately ranked. Add your own categories when the built-in ones don't cover it.
YOUR FRIENDS, WHERE YOU'RE STANDING
Follow someone and their whole list comes with you. Land in a city you've never been to and see what the people you trust rated 8 or more, with how far away it is.
SEND ONE AS A LINK
One tap turns a Top 8 into a page anyone can open — a photo of your number one, then the eight in order. No app needed to read it.
