If you’re interested bc of Linn Lowes, don’t bother downloading

Originally I purchased a lifetime subscription to Athli after being a long-time user of Linn Lowes’ workouts, only to find out that she long sold the app 3 years ago and will be starting her own app.

The functionality of this athli app is sooo poor - with it being hard to delete a plan once you choose it, implement supersets in the build your own workout feature, and find personalized macros that make sense.

App sadly is not functional

I moved from Fitplan to this app because I loved Linn Lowes’ workouts, and have for years. Whilst the workouts on this app are great, the app is practically unusable which renders any quality in trainer and workout plans useless. I can see that other reviews have also found this, so hopefully the founders will review app functionality soon as it is losing customers.

The application doesn’t work

I’ve used this app before and I had no issues whatsoever, but this last time, the application wasn’t working properly.

So many bugs

The app constantly logs you out and does not let you log back in. Pay for a subscription but can’t even use it.

App is glitchy and support is not helpful

It’s been two weeks and I am unable to use the app. I have reached out to Customer Support multiple times and been told they will get back to me, but always have to follow up on my own as I don’t get a response.

It’s very disappointing as I have already paid for an annual subscription in advance and now I am not able to use the app and it feels like there is no urgency in solving this issue.

The programs are great and I do see the results from them, but the tech side of the app is not great. It has always been glitchy and I have had issues with it in the past that I have looked past since I do like the programs overall, but it’s been two weeks with no ability to use the app and the communication has been subpar. If I were month to month I would cancel my plan.

Randomly charged $140 or more

I have seen 0 pricing info and they’ll just randomly charge you and then up charge you.

Great workouts, terrible app

It’s hard to schedule the workouts according to the days I’m plan. The app makes it very difficult.
Also , Linn has not made much effort in presenting the new workouts in a pleasing manner. She often takes exercises from old workouts and plugs them into new plans. The addition of the new trainers does not diminish this major flaw. New workouts and new plans should be presented for the money I’m paying.

Terrible App

The app is severely deficient. Please hire a software developer to help you out with the whole app. It doesn’t log my sets correctly. If I click forward past the last exercise it will just shut me out of the workout without warning and with no way to go back into it. When trying to modify the schedule, it made it super hard. When I first scheduled my plan, I started on Tuesday because it was a holiday on Monday. However, after that, I had a leg day on Monday and another on Tuesday every single week. The description of the workout for Monday was “end of the week workout” and on Tuesday it was “beginning of the week workout”. There was no easy way of fixing this issue other than postponing the whole plan 1 week. Which left me without a workout plan for a week. I know this is a small inconvenience but it is still very frustrating considering I am paying $50 every 3 months for this.

Glitchy

App is always glitchy. App always closes at login and I have to constantly delete app and redownload every time. Seems like something is always not working

Very poor functionality don’t buy

I’ve been a customer since 2021. The app has never worked properly, mostly because I don’t think linn lowes knows how to hire a good app team or find developers. After every update there is issues with the timers/ rep count/ tracking on the app. You cannot complete a workout plan without issues, it makes keeping to plan impossible. I send screen recordings of the problem and nothing is ever done. I strongly recommend finding another workout app.

Glitchy

Workouts are great but the app is glitchy. Doesn’t space out the days correctly between workout/ rest days. Whne you postpone to try to get it to be on the correct days it just reverts back. The app interface is super annoying and didn’t have these problems before. Hopefully they can fix this.

BUYER BEWARE

I have tried canceling this app multiple times and still no support. They have been charging me $19.99 a month for over a year since I started the process of asking to cancel.

Great workouts, Terrible app.

I like the workouts but the app is not great. I swap workouts depending on my schedule and when I open the app again they revert back to the original schedule. When I complete a workout that was scheduled on a different day, it logs it on that day and not the day I completed. Also, sometimes I can’t complete the workouts in order and if I get to the last workout and log the set, it logs the whole workout session and I have to restart it to complete the other workouts.

App needs some adjusting

I think there needs to be improvements made to this app. Here is what I experience every time I open the app to do my workouts:
-Unable to perform the last moves of my workouts with the timer. Only gives me the option to “Finish” my workout and I haven’t seen any other way to start the timer.
-When moving on to the next exercise in my workout plan my timer will start going off before the next exercise move is shown on the screen.
-When I try to “move” my workout to a different day it says the action has been completed but the workout doesn’t actually move to the new day on the calendar that I chose.
I am an at home workout gal I’d love to try the other home plans. I’m currently doing the free trial and with these frustrating glitches/bugs I’m not sure paying for a subscription would be worth it. Other than what I have noticed with the app itself, I will must say I am always exciting to start my workout each day and I have nothing bad to say about the plan I am currently using (Maisie Rose Bikini Boost 😊).

Sign out issue

I’ve been using this app for a while, and while I love workout library and recipes, the constant sign-out issue is frustrating. Every other time I reopen the app, I have to go through the whole sign-in and setup process, which interrupts the user experience. It would be great if the app could remember login details and avoid making users repeatedly go through the 'let’s get you started' flow

Paid money for a buggy app

This app isn’t working for me now. Can’t access my workout to start today. In the past there were plenty of bugs but I could work around it. But now it’s just not even opening up the workout. I feel like I paid all of this money and now I’m stuck. Beware!

Extremely Glitchy

I have had this app for about 1.5 years. For the first year it was great, no issues. I loved how organized and easy to use. However, there was recently a major update to the app. They added new trainers and new workout programs which is great but the app no longer function correctly. It doesn’t save data, unable to postpone workout plan. I am trying to start Glute Gain program, but it won’t organize the days I’m trying to start on. It moves all the workout days backwards. The update has been disastrous. I’ve contacted support multiple times and nothing was done to resolve the issues. It’s quite frustrating and disappointing.

Lots that’s great but huge glitches

This app is great in so many ways but when something goes wrong it goes wrong. The app isn’t polished, there is no way to retrospectively postpone a workout if you are sick or miss a work out. You can’t add sets or notes (say if you used a particular colour resistance band, no way to note that), sometimes the reps and weights - which you can change in theory - don’t update. You’re endlessly pressing the screen to get it to ‘stick’. But now I cannot change plan, so I’m stuck. It won’t let me press ‘next’ to implement the new plan.

I have emailed many times and contacted them via socials but nothing. It shouldn’t be this hard.

No 7 day trial

This is so frustrating this app has loophole saying 7 day free trail, but i just add subscription so i could check out the app if i am interested to use it,, as soon as I subsribed i got charged and now i tried to cancel and it says i got charged for a month and it will cancel from next month. This is so unfair.. return me my money. I don want this app.
