Great App to use with a treadmill

This app works perfectly with my Horizon 7 treadmill. I love how it automatically changes the incline so seamlessly with no jerks or bumps, it’s super smooth. The walking trails are great and give me something to look at while walking. There are no monthly subscriptions either ❤️

Not able to connect with Apple Watch for heart rate

Not able to connect with Apple Watch for heart rate

Limited

Works well with indoor cycle. Limited virtual rides. No new uploads.

Clunky

Clunky app, does not connect well to Apple Watches. Never seems to be able to collect hate rate data.

very unstable

The Phone app frequently got disconnected from the Apple Watch to obtain heart rate. The target heart rate mode sometimes fail to automatically reduce treadmill speed when heart rate is higher than the target. It just terminates the workout.

Won’t connect to machine

Useless as won’t connect via Bluetooth, the whole reason for buying a Horizon treadmill was to get connected to zwift etc. Utterly useless now.

Good workout app

Needs a few more integrations and features but overall is a good app. Love that it syncs with my Apple Watch and Strava app

Missing Exercise type for Apple Health

I both walk and jog, but I can’t see any support for an Indoor Walk when used in conjunction with Apple Health and a treadmill.

As a result I get more accurate data when bypassing the app, and just use my Apple Watch to track a walk.

Removed the app completely. After a bit of use, I have found it to be pointless.

Great for incline training

App is great for incline training, support is really diligent in fixing issues and rolling out updates, no bells or whistle just great at tracking progress, calories, intensity and duration.

No delete option

Really frustrating to use, the app somehow glitched and recorded over 100 - 0 second workouts in 1 minute, there is no way to delete workouts from the app so the average of all workouts is messed up. I reached out to support with absolutely no guidance or direction on how to manage this issue. Pretty basic app and when it fails to do even the minimum required it’s just frustrating.

Needs more customization

I would like to be able to make custom workouts with more than 10 segments, and I would like to be able to save them to a list of custom workouts. We should also be able to set the incline of the segments. I would also like to be able to see my average heart rate in each segment in the workout summary after the workout is complete.

Last updates cut runs short

Since the update using distance goal the app is stopping my run 1/2 to a full mile short. This is not good when I am trying to reach a distance then I have to go back and restart a run to get the missed distance

Great App … workout summary data inaccurate!

Oct’24 : I use atZone with my Matrix ICR500 bike (which is excellent!)… atZone syncs with Apple Fitness…

During workout the atZone shows live KCals whilst working out (increasing like distance through the workout) - at workout end it then offers a ‘useful’ summary.

Now the issue!! - during the workout it claims 210kcal … a second after the workout ends the summary appears - records only 156kcal! ..
…in this case robbing me of 54kcals! - about 1/3 of the workout kcals! (Which is the figure that goes into Apple Fitness!!)

There seems to be no correlation between kcal in workout and what is in summary - I think there must be a bug! - but as such it renders all my workout records worthless! (It’s so bad I’ve taking a screenshot of as close to the end if my workout to record me efforts).

Feels like a great product is being ruined by buggy software - please fix (and better still offer a data export function so we can check the app’s maths please!?)

I have raised a ticket - with no response to date… thus one star (sadly).

April25 : Many months pass, and app updates … no response as to why the app records a +20% calorie burn than it shares with Apple health (sometimes)… and now a 5mile exercise period now stops at 4.5 miles… basic maths seems to defeat this app…

Want accurate measurements to check in progress - my advice on 9+months… avoid this app and all Matrix products that require this app…. Real shame the app doesn’t match the excellent quality of the physical gym products - as is it VERY inaccurate.

The app vendor either ignores reviews - and offers no support or fix - based on my experience so far…

Please take this into consideration before purchase of equipment that requires this software…

Great app but

Great app- had no problems with connecting to bike and the workouts are very enjoyable. The problem is the Apple Watch doesn’t always connect so heart rate doesn’t show on the workout screen. How do I get it to work?

Z-Points are a major issue

Sure it’s alright at the start. But for the quality of the app and how little “virtual active” rides there are it can get very redundant doing the same 60 minute ride (there’s only one location option for the 60 minute virtual active workout).
There isn’t a way to purchase Z-points on the app or in the App Store, so once you run out you’re stranded and cannot do anything. The app tells you to go on the App Store to get them and the App Store tells you to go on the app to do it. Customer service has been 0 help the two times I called them. I emailed them as well and they don’t even know their own app and suggested I was using the Zwift app (suggests they don’t even know their own app). So now I’m stuck and can’t do any workouts with no way to get more points.
The cost of Z-points after you run out is astonishing from the prices listed. I will now have to pay almost $5 a week to refill on points, and that seems like a scam having already bought the bike and the low-quality of the app and customer service. Highly disappointed.

T202 Treadmill

I hope there’s an AI feature that can adjust the interval run speed and duration based on my progress to help me improve

Adding running plans

Having more running training programs, such as interval running plans, would be even more attractive
