Worst app I’ve ever tried in my whole life
This is the most poorly designed app I’ve ever seen in my whole life. I work with software and apps all the time. I’ve seen all kinds, but this takes the cake as the absolute worst. Horrible user experience. There is literally no way to just set a frequency and have it play indefinitely. That’s not even an option. The frequency constantly rises when you said it at one thing and it gets higher and higher and then it cuts off after a certain amount of time. There is absolutely no option to make the frequency stay steady. There is no option to make it play indefinitely. All of the commands and the buttons are grouped in a horrible way

Can’t do anything without upgrading to the paid subscription.
VERY SOLID APP!!
Seemingly almost zero complaints aside from the stop playback timer not functioning as intended. Other than that a very solid and a highly recommended purchase for those wanting such utility!
Additional Functionality Suggestion
Add notch filter to noise function, so that app can potentially be used for tinnitus relief. Include adjustable frequency for upper and lower drop off points and Q adjustability.
why TWO signal generators, big $$$
hey Thomas! greetings from Cowgary! great work!! amazing functionality, flexibility, usability and excellent engineering in these apps! i have used three of your apps without knowing you were the author of each. i'm a journeyman, technician, technologist, engineer, musician, editor, dev, etc, so its a no-brainer i would find and use your apps. Outstanding work! All your apps deserve 5 STARS across the board, no question! however i must apologize that i have not used your TWO signal generators enough, less than 10 hours, to know why you have two, and even worse today when i need a full-featured PRECISION SIGNAL GENERATOR i see they are both a little pricey ($20+can on appstore) and the package deal of $36+can for two generators and a circuits app (i'm not likely to use) is really no bargain for me when i only need one generator. So i can't decide which one to purchase until i learn much more about both of them..... and in the back of my mind i am wondering if there are any other precision signal generators that will do the peculiar job i need (spectral sweeps) and don't cost as much. I have a lot going on in the lab so my frequency sweeps project will have to be back-burnered for now. the last thing i need is to blow $24can on the wrong generator app. (yeah, i already have at least ten signal generator apps)

Best app I’ve ever paid for
In terms of straightforwardness and functionality this app is best in the market. I’ve tried all the tone apps for a very long time. THIS one has amazing attention to detail and fine tune functionality settings. But the main thing is that it works and it is reliable for a variety of needs in this area of utility. Also the dev is super nice and knows what he’s doing. All in all worth paying for imo great app!

It just crashes every time it’s opened. It’s up to date as per the App Store.
You'd be better off whistling
U cant generate sounds under 100hz anymore... Including EVERY IMPORTANT SOUND (25.125hz limit of human hearing, 40hz, 60hz, 70hz basically anything that sounds good) and you cant even go that high either. Just put (SILENT) adds in the app instead of ruining it. And either way SPEAKERS CAN GENERATE SIGNALS HIGHER AND LOWER THAN 21Hz & 21kHz (usually 8hz-25khz) SO EVEN IF YOU PAY YOURE NOT GETTING THE BEST

Developer got greedy
Just about everything in the “pro” version was 100% free before February 2025. Google has free 1hz generators bro.
Money hungry
Used to be useful for diagnosing vehicles, now it wants you to pay for the lower frequency

Downloaded app, doesn’t do what I want. Then out of blue I get a charge. Um hello it’s illegal to just charge people without their permission

The use of an update to remove the full frequency range without paying a subscription is absurd and unacceptable.

Need to pay for what I want!
Not good! I needed to pay for all of its features including to extend the frequency range because the free version of the app only has a frequency range from 100 Hz to 10 kHz and I don’t like that! This app also has frequency sweeps but the free version of the app only makes it so the frequency sweep setting can only be set at 440 Hz to 1 kHz which I do not like! There are so many more features that I needed to pay for to even do those! The price for all those features is $8.99 but my mom and dad does not allow my to pay for apps that are like these!
