This game is great. It’s a ton of fun, and it has kept me very entertained over the past few days.
The learning curve is honestly pretty steep at first, but once you understand how paddle movement works and learn to track the puck, the game becomes extremely enjoyable. There is a surprising amount of strategy here, especially with positioning, timing, shot strength, and reading ricochets.
My main suggestion would be to have the pitch indicators turned on by default. When I first started playing, I had a lot of trouble judging how close or far away the puck was. The clicks alone were not enough for me to track it confidently. I spent about 30 minutes feeling frustrated, but once I checked the options menu and turned on pitch indicators, the game became much easier to understand and enjoy.
I would also suggest lowering the default computer skill level to around 2 instead of 3 or 4. That would make learning the game more approachable and might help new players stick with it instead of quitting before they realize the difficulty and audio settings can be adjusted.
Those are really my only suggestions. The game itself is phenomenal. It feels polished, I haven’t run into any bugs, and the strategic layer is definitely there. You all did a great job, and I hope you make more games.
