Was good for years until now on new iPhone models it glitches out and the sound sweep can sound sound alien like. Only the clean sweeps will work for me no my using either left or right sweeps.

I Customize Harley Davidson motorcycles for a living and a lot of them want high end stereo systems on them. So I use it with a few SMD tools and an Audio Control DM-RTA to adjust the DSP on the system for the best overall sound you could want. I bought 3 different ones. The Tone tester and the pink noise generator as well as the sweep tone generator. Love them all. They don’t time out or stop for any reason.

I’ve had this app for five years I am a car audio installation technician. I have use this app to tune thousands of installs. It is definitely worth purchasing the extra add-ons. I don’t think there would be another app I would ever want to use for Signal generation and tone generator

I have been dabbling with some sound experimentation on various media. One of the functions is sustaining a steady tone to measure heat out put. This app makes setting that up very quick and painless (by painless I mean I use my watch to control the volume at a distance)
Anywho, almost rated 4 stars due to toggling the dials get cumbersome when manually sweeping. I was messing around in my trucks audio and would slowly increase output but found myself having to reset my finger on the dial. Maybe sliders instead of dials?
Otherwise perfect for any application where noise, tones, or sweeps are needed to adjust voltage, gains, or other audio needs.

Security Risk - Steals data
Be aware that this app steals what is on your clipboard when you open it, so potentially could compromise private information. Thanks to the new iOS update, when I open the app, I am told it has ‘pasted from’ my previous app. What is it doing with this harvested information stolen from users?

I was looking for a simple tone generator. Seems like it should be easy enough to make, find, and use. After looking at many, both web and app, and testing maybe two dozen, this Signal Gen is the only one worth keeping and meets my requirements even in the free version.

A good instrument
This is a good app to download for science experiments, though it could be better. I suggest that the dev should look at making a version of this with buttons to increase and decrease the frequency as well as the knobs/dials for more accurate and minute adjustments to the range and frequency whilst doing scientific experiments to record more variables.

Its worked great for me
Downloaded this forever ago & I’ve used it to set gain clip on my amps in a few different cars since most everything I listen to is streamed thru my phone. I’m sure theres people that use it to a much further extent than I do but it’s always done what I need and very simple to use
