Rubbish. Microsoft now say that they want to use 2 factor authentication to access some off their applications. I’m all on favor of enhanced security. I have several other apps that do the same. They, however, don’t charge you to use an Authenticator app. Microsoft do. They want you to pay to use this app. Talk about lining your own pocket. Rubbish. Use another free app.

This it required to make things easy yet Microsoft charge for the safety that should be free in an email application they constantly log you out on the basis of securing your email yet each time you attempt to log back in password won’t be recognised so you need to reset

iCloud Authenticator has stolen days out of my life. How many “Authenticators” are there and which is which. When I get a code to select it rarely offers the correct screen, so for a 2-digit code I see a 2-line screen with each line having 6 numbers.

Remove this immediately - malicious app.
I hadn’t pit in any passwords or details in after I accidentally downloaded this fake 2FA. If you have, remove it and reset your phone and change your passwords especially if you put any personal data or details AND if you toggled on the “sync to cloud backup”. When you request a refund with Apple, please also report this app as suspicious or fake.

These guys made a couple of apps and put them in App Store. So when you see the app that wants to charge you $20 it’s their scam because you can’t sign out from being charged. There are plenty of free apps, save your time and money and skip this one as well as Authenticator (with gray icon)- their other app.
