Buggy
Buggy, and constantly logs me out right after i log in

when viewing cars in the list, if you swipe more than 3 pics, it will auto take you to the post. Also has random crashes sometimes going through the full list of photos

This site now seems to only attract slimy scammers.
Selling
The app is very glitchy, and 75% of the time when I clicked on messages to see potential buyers, it would glitch and log me out repeatedly. Not only that, the app is full of scammers, I maybe got 4 people who were actually interested, and probably 15-20 messages from scammers. Just use marketplace or something, this app is not something I’d use again.

Autotrader used to be a great place to sell your car but it has become an absolute joke. Last two vehicle we have listed on here were sold on Facebook marketplace. Every single person that messaged us acting like they were interested in our car were either a scammer trying to get our email address or they were make believe buyers trying to get us to buy their own vehicle report. Which is ridiculous and redundant being as we had a car fax report available right in the add. More scammer on auto trader than on Craigslist. How did that happen. We won’t be using Autotrader ever again and could not recommend it to anyone trying to sell a vehicle.

Horrific Sales Experience
I was excited to list my 2018 Jeep Wrangler on AutoTrader, but that excitement disappeared almost immediately.
Within hours, I was flooded with fraudulent inquiries and obvious scams—requests to text or email outside the platform, demands to purchase random vehicle history reports, and other schemes that had nothing to do with buying my Jeep. I received very few legitimate inquiries.
What was most disappointing was AutoTrader’s lack of protection for sellers. The platform did little to filter out scammers or create a trustworthy buying experience. On top of that, the messaging system is clunky, unreliable, and often fails to update, making it difficult to keep track of conversations.
Selling a vehicle should be straightforward. Instead, the experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and filled with scams. AutoTrader needs to do a much better job protecting sellers and improving its messaging platform. Based on my experience, I would hesitate to use it again.

I like the options for the searches but the app crashes more times than not which is frustrating in the middle of a search
App not as Great for Sellers
I want to like this app as I’m wanting to use it, preferring not to use the browser on my phone. Unfortunately, this app defaults to the homepage after every action, requiring a login every time I want to check another message.
Additionally, “buyers” whose accounts have been deactivated keep showing up in the message list. The app doesn’t appear to allow me to hide messages like the webpage does.
App is missing a menu item for “My Listings”.

Pretty bad
The app itself was acting up had to use the browser and as for posting a car to sell on autotrader is a big waste of money and time all I got was a whole bunch of scammers
New update is unusable
