UI is broken, camera is broken. App update broke the app, developer “don’t know when they can fix it” bad app , bad company

This app is useless on my iPhone 15. Can’t upload photos or videos. Unbelievably frustrating.

The app concept is good; however, there are several known issues that negatively impact usability.
One of the main concerns is the camera functionality. The zoom in/out feature is difficult to use. With the most recent update on iPhones, the camera defaults to a zoomed-in view when taking pictures. This makes it difficult to capture the correct angle or frame the subject properly. As a result, it is unclear how the photo will turn out, and multiple pictures are often required before obtaining a usable image.
The messaging feature is also challenging to use. Because the mobile app remains in landscape mode at all times, navigating in and out of messages is frustrating and discourages regular use.
The same applies to documenting inspections and entering recommended repairs. Completing these tasks directly within the app is inefficient. I personally had to use an emulator on my PC to make the process faster and more convenient, particularly when adding notes and completing recommendations.
Overall, I believe the app has strong potential, but it requires substantial improvements to enhance functionality and user experience.

HOW?!?
With the new update you made it worse than it was before!
The camera is zoomed in when taking pictures but after taking the picture it is not zoomed in, when going through the inspection it only uses 3/4 of the phone screen, almost none of the buttons are lined up properly, I have to press next to the buttons to get them to work.
Either fix it or pull back the update, this is most ridiculous

Latest update made the app not usable, it’s no longer fitting the screen correctly, can’t type in any boxes when opened because it’s overlaying previous screen, can’t even submit a help ticket in app because of this. What a joke. I have to use this app all day every day and they continue to make function worse and worse, and now I can’t even do my job because of it. Unreal.

Not sure if it’s from new update, but when using the camera app crashes. The display on inspection screen isn’t correct and all the buttons don’t line up. Worked before update with little issue.
Not optimized at all
Honestly the app is mostly usable as long as you have perfect WiFi connection and a almost impossible ability to wait for endless loading times
Need iPhone Support
The app is usable, but the mobile experience needs improvement. On my iPhone 17 Pro Max, the interface is locked to landscape, which makes the chat system difficult to use—messages are harder to read, type, and manage during active workflow. Not all advisors use iPhones, but for those who do, proper portrait-mode support would greatly improve intake, inspections, and communication efficiency. Enhancing mobile usability would make the app far more practical in real shop conditions.

Redownloading
My biggest gripe with this app is every time I close outta the app, it fails to reload it causing me to waist time redownloading and inputting my login. It also won’t save login info. Aside from that it’s pretty good.
Terrible on iPad
Buggy, will glitch so bad when typing, you type a whole sentence, and it will all of a sudden type the whole thing 30 sec later. When you try to message AutoVitals to report the problem, the message won’t even send. It will spin for 30min, then disappear. Fix it, this is ridiculous
User experience needs significant improvement.
App is difficult to use and requires significant improvement. Seems as though the application is developed using Kotlin or something similar, given how it is the exact same UI and experience on an Android device - utilizes a shared codebase. Have noticed with the app running either in the foreground or background, the battery loss is rapid - must remember to quit the app to prevent a dead iPhone battery. The idea of digital vehicle inspections is sound but for automotive technicians using the app, it is not a straightforward user experience with multiple limitations.

Greatest DVI Product on the Market Today
I used to use BoltOn and then switched over to TekMetric DVI…both were horrid in comparison to the user friendly nature of AutoVitals. On top of that, the system works in terms of streamlining the flow of information in my shop, selling more jobs and features the best CRM and web platform on the market. Since taking on this system, I have been able to expand to 3 locations and buy a new house. Thank you AutoVitals!!

this app is just hot garbage. can’t even stay logged in for more than 30 mins

Crashes a lot.... looses internet connection, to much useless information and alerts. Does not decode vin properly.

Not working right
The vehicles are sent to the correct tech and approved but they show up on the other tech’s tablet in inactive vehicles. Wastes a lot of time trying to find the vehicle on other techs tablets!
