Wanted to try

Wanted to try the app but when you get to the payment it says 9.99 per year (.19 per week), but when you click continue, it wants to charge you 49.99! If they use these tactics to get you, can you believe anything they say?? I have a screenshot.

Can’t log in, crew trial not working

I logged in the app, decided not to use it’s because I couldn’t delete categories. When I bulk upload receipts it did not track then. I thought I had a free trial but it’s charged my card $52.00. Tried to get a refund from Apple, denied. Emailed support and waiting for a response.

Useful!!!

It is very useful to track receipts! Especially I was looking for a receipt scanner and expense tracker and AVA Receipt solves my problem. They also let you customize the exported data columns for Excel and CSV! Best receipt organizer.

Can’t trust it

I uploaded and categorized my 2025 receipts, once app was updated all of my first half of 2025 for specific folders disappeared. I also compared the total amount per expense given by the report option to what every single expense under specific categories would add up to, and amounts do not match. I triple checked my additions and I got the same amount, so that tells me I can’t truly trust the report data generated by this app. I can deal with that, but having 6 months of 2025 disappear on me is truly disappointing, I was hoping to get more of this app given the fact that I already paid for the yearly premium.

Your receipts are stored in the cloud, and issues like this are typically related to syncing or report filtering after an update, not permanent data loss. Bye bye physical receipts

I just use it to store my receipts and toss the physical ones right away. It’s easy to search through them later. When I go grocery shopping with someone and need to split the bill. The app just makes it much possible to document stuff really fast!
