Speed
You must do something about the speed with which things are verbalized. Everyone I know has the same complaint about not being able to affect speed. Clarity is also an issue - I am considering canceling my subscription in favor of duo lingo which I am more pleased with so far

ChatGPT can do a learning program personalized to you. Wouldn’t purchase again.

You lose your progress if you toggle between languages. It does teach you the rules of the language.
Great language learning program
I really appreciate the verity of different ways to learn. Babbel has everything from guided conversations to podcasts. The only thing I wish was different is more custom ability. I wish there was a way to search and choose what topics are important for you to learn. That would help people grow more in the areas that are important to them.

Fraudulent renews after cancellation and no way to contact them
Babbel renewed my account even though it had been cancelled. There was no email saying it would soon renew and there is no way to reach a human. The app itself is full of English and so basic. Total waste of money.

I wish that you could bookmark a section or page that you would like to revisit at a later time, as it maybe have more key notes that apply more regularly. Otherwise, very awsome app

I’ve been using Babble to help learn more Spanish and grammar but I would also really like it if they added Cantonese or Mandarin language option as well! Or Japanese! I really like the format of babble but I want more language options!

Not for everyone
It would be nice if we could speed up the progression from speaking, listening, being graded, etc.
More importantly: elements of this program and the podcast focus on topics in politics and sexuality that are intentionally divisive. It gives the impression that Babel is geared towards that very specific population.
