Game-changer!
Total game-changer for our bar. It’s packed with tools and has saved us a ton of time on ordering and inventory counts. I love the reports. They make it easy to see what’s selling, what’s sitting, and even catch pricing mistakes. Best part is it plugs right into our POS so I can track sales in one place and actually rely on the profit reports to understand how the bar’s really performing. On top of that, their support team is top-notch. Anytime I have a question, they usually get back to me within an hour or less.

App is great but having issues using and editing inventory locations. If I can get help troubleshooting this it would be such a great use.
Huge Time Saver
This app has been incredible to use! The time saved in inventory and ordering each month has been huge! It took about a day to fully set up all my items and do my first full inventory, but from there I have hit the ground running. Very user friendly and lots of great new features since I have started using it!

Constant updates makes for a great inventory app
Backbar has been a game changing tool for our team, and I can’t personally imagine going back to hand counts. The app has a lot of useful features, a ton of data for me to consider with orders, and is pretty much constantly being updated with new features and improvements. Highly recommend.

The keyboard won’t come up to fill out any of the information so it is unusable.
Efficient and essential for inventory management
We’ve been using Backbar for our bar’s inventory and it’s been a game changer. The app has streamlined our inventory process, cutting the time we spend counting by more than half. The ability to sync across multiple devices and locations in real-time is incredibly useful, especially when managing a larger team. We also enjoy barcode scanning feature to count inventory.

Love the idea, but it doesn’t work
Keyboard randomly disappears during setup. When you go to pick a location (why does it need a location? - you can’t move forward until you do) it won’t allow you to select one so you can’t actually use or even see the app. Not ready for release by a fair bit.
Great Service, Great App.
I have been using backbar for the last 4 years while I use it a little different than a typical user. The app works great, super easy and accessible. It has to low of a rating on the App Store for being to good of an app. The UI is extremely friendly and easy to use after you play around with it a little. The order entry is so streamlined while I don’t 100% trust the email to rep function (due to personal reason with my own sales reps. Not the app itself) the format and output of orders are so simple and easy to read. The free program works great for bars with low budgets and owners that are too stingy to spend a few extra bucks. This is a great tool for the beginning bar manager or Purchaser. 5 Stars and excited to see what is to come in the future!

This App is Unusable
After the most recent update it is nearly impossible to take inventory on this app. It’s messy, buggy, and unresponsive. You press a number and it doesn’t enter it, and don’t even think about using decimals because it will not allow you to even though there’s a decimal button. It’s insanely frustrating that I can no longer use my phone for inventory or ordering because this app is trash.

Crashes
The app was working fine until I downloaded the new update. Now the inventory can not be accessed to complete counts which means no ordering without guessing. It also forces you update items in your inventory or ignore the prompt to update items in inventory requiring attention. If you don’t have OCD it probably is not that big of a deal. But if you have OCD it is a problem.
Data is not stored on your device so if the server is experiencing problems on the day of your count you are in trouble.

Worth the subscription
I don’t know where to start, this app is actually incredible. My restaurant recently subscribed to the app and it has made our lives so much easier. It saves me so much time on inventory and ordering. Highly recommended!
Backbar shuts down free accounts
Backbar claims to offer a free tier. However, if you sign up for the free account, an employee emails you and closes your account. Even after closing my account, they keep you on their mailing list–for an app that they won’t even let me use. I’m looking at other inventory programs to find one that is able to deliver what they promised.

Thank you for your feedback. Backbar doesn't shut down any free account created for restaurants or other businesses. Our Basic plan is free-forever. The only reason we close accounts is when the user doesn't verify their business, as Backbar is not available for at-home use. If closing your account was done in error, please contact support@getbackbar.com so we can correct the mistake.
Huge time saver
This app is amazing. I used to spend hours doing inventory on a spreadsheet (and oftentimes, I would still make mistakes). This app is so user friendly it’s almost impossible to overlook anything or make silly mistakes while placing orders.

Saves me so much time on bar inventory
Really happy I found this app. It’s made taking inventory so much easier. Me and my bar team have basically cut the time it takes for monthly inventory in half. I’m using it send my liquor orders now and it’s a lot easier to keep track of orders and costs in Backbar than with my old order sheet. I’d definitely recommend trying it out for your bar. It’s a free app too which is awesome.

I’ve been using Backbar for a couple weeks now and it’s made running my bar so much easier. I don’t have to spend hours doing inventory and I can keep track of my orders all in one place. I can’t believe it’s free!

So much better than using spreadsheets
Just started using the app and it makes doing inventory a lot faster than the spreadsheets we normally use. Multiple people can count inventory at once which saves me tons of time from typing in everyone’s numbers at the end. Love that our waitstaff could download the app to learn about our wines and liquor. Best of all it’s free! Doesn’t get better than that.
