Submissions Fail
I have been trying to submit a burnout Street Light for several days now and the app just does not take the submission. It keeps failing.
Request submit error
Overall, great app but submitting a request does not work. It will just leave you on a loading wheel.
I have an address that corresponds with the city
I have a city address but I live right outside the city so whatever services provided or services I may need are out of the cities jurisdiction. There’s a particular service that i like to/need to use but I can’t because this discrepancy. Please work on this so all the citizens of the city can utilize this app and the services provided with ease.

Redlining the county
Would’ve gotten 5 stars. But unfortunately the app only allows you to help the in the city. Which in my opinion is completely unethical and is borderline a fair housing violation. The people in charge of this app know exactly where to send county reports. Yet for some reason, they expect us to file our reports directly with the county over the phone.
I don’t know why they want to refuse to work with the county because it would be extremely simple and convenient if they just forwarded all the county request to the appropriate office. Instead they just give you the number and expect you to do their job.

Real deal!!!
So, I used this app to report a homeless encampment that was really close to a house I have rented out. My tenants informed me that there were a lot of people walking around at night and walking close the the windows etc.. I wasn’t sure what to do. I cane across this app. I didn’t know if it even would work, but I tried it!
I am glad I did because the encampment was all cleaned up and gone!!! Super thankful!!

Amazing
I was skeptical at first but I decided to download the app thinking “what do I have to lose?” There was a huge homeless encampment under a bridge that has been there for months and the city had no idea but I took a picture and reported it. Within 24 hours, they send CHP and Caltrans to clean up the encampment quickly and it now looks brand new.

Still Doesn’t Work Properly
Still can not submit a request. Contacted developer several times and updated the app with no resolution. Very disappointed.

I use this app A LOT! I pick up trash in the fairfax, Alfred Harrell Hwy area but sometimes the large trash dumps or larger items are too much for me to handle. My requests are usually completed within 5 business days. Get this app and use it! Help keep our city trash free.

This app is easy to use and effective. Problems I've reported (illegal dumping and graffiti) have been addressed in less than 24 hours.
You can skip the picture if it bothers you to do two steps. While a picture helps, it's not mandatory. Simply click "report without photo".
Then tap the location on the map and describe the problem. (You don't necessarily have to do that either--if it's graffiti at xyz address, they'll find it.)
Click the problem; graffiti, park problems, illegal dumping, pothole, etc...
And that's it.

It should not be necessary to go through two steps just to take a photo.
For safety reasons the user should be able to get the GPS location locked in before doing other things so they can move to a safer location to complete the report.
