The weather app you need!
This is a fantastic app for weather. Meteorologists that give you personalized information for your area. The interface is smooth and the new update makes it easy to find all the information you’re looking for. Thank you BAM weather!
Landscape/portrait glitch
Please fix this! On the iPad in landscape view, any time I try to access Nowcasts, weather alerts, daily forecasts beyond 6 days, hourly forecasts beyond six hours, forecast video - it rotates 90 degs to portrait view. Very inconvenient.
Best in Class
Bam has always been fantastic. The new app is perfect. Continuous improvements to what they do is what makes them the best.
Just ok
The app is better than the big commercial ones but still not great. Glitchy at times and it’s not uncommon for the daily forecast to be off 5 degrees.
Location tracking
I expect a paid weather service to be able to track my location and give me alerts for severe weather based on my current location.
This app won’t do that. It just provides info based on saved locations. So you you are working in the field 30 miles north and there is lightning in the area or a tornado warning you are SOL.
