Ads make it unusable
Now that ads pop up every time you change from one part of the forecast to another, it’s virtually unusable. Very disappointing.

I am a very long time user of this weather app. Brian Wilkes has been my go to for any kind of weather updates for years. I’m saddened by the fact that they have decided I need to watch an add before I am able to check the radar, see what’s in store for the day or check the 10 day… if I switch from one area to another or change my location, yep, gotta watch another add!! For this reason and this reason alone I am moving on to another source for my weather information. Very disappointing!!!

Used to be great, now it’s ads on every click and so loud I can’t do when I first wake up, wakes up wife.
Deleting this app
I watch Fox 59 every single night. But now, since the new update on May 26, 2026, whenever I open this app, it plays a full-page ad at the beginning. This used to be my go-to weather app and now I’m deleting it. At least GIVE THE OPTION TO OPT OUT by paying a 1-time fee of like $3!!

The ads are now overwhelming. Many of them are misaligned to the point you can’t click out of them.
