There are so many apps that are free! They are just as good. Why pay for something when you can get something else just as good free?
App dosnt work
I’ve had bam weather for over a year but something has happened with the app and now it will not open. Every other app I have works just fine. I even went as far as to factory reset my iPhone and it worked for about 2 hours and it’s back to not working now. Just sucks because I have a subscription and I can’t access the content and I don’t get severe weather alerts now.

10000% worth it
The most reliable weather company ever. Customized notifications, plus they offer lives to keep you up to date as to what’s around you. They call the storms and warnings way before NWS. Can’t beat them.
Impressive!
I was hesitant to spend the $8/month (special pricing) but wow! It has already paid for itself!!
I feel so prepared! Is it the best app? No (but pretty darn close!) Is it a horrible app? Absolutely not! But, it truly saves lives!
No weather app will be perfect, but the state-of-the-art location-specific alerts are out of this world!! I am so impressed!! Sure beats a county tornado siren going off that has no relevance to my exact location and spreading panic and mayhem!

Excellent weather app
Anyone who followed BAM Weather through last nights storms will see the value of this app!!! This is 100% my go to for all weather. I can’t even watch the local stations anymore…find them lacking in detailed information.
Weather Specific Warnings, ahead of NWS
This weather app is by far the best out there. They issue warnings often ahead of the NWS, giving time to get ahead of the storm and be safe. We only get a warning notification if we are in the warning, and we always know to seek shelter or not when the sirens have sounded (often after we were already aware thanks to BAM). Thank you guys!

BAM is wonderful!
Michael Clark and his team always do a wonderful job keeping everyone aware of weather conditions. Having the BAM app is more reliable than tornado sirens going off! Thank you BAM.
I’m not impressed
I’m not impressed that there’s nothing to try before buying. I made the mistake of paying for a year of the home level. I’m not impressed with the UI, I’m not impressed with the information available, and at this point I feel like the information they post on Facebook is as good as what you pay $100 a year for. I bought this over continuing with Carrot weather. Carrot’s rain predictions just sucked, but everything else is leagues ahead of this app. I’ll continue to give it a try, but after a few weeks I’m just left disappointed.

Good app Please Improve!
Overall a really good app that provides access to the Clarity weather experience. Would like to see some improvements:
1. Allow home/home premium users with 1 location go straight to radar or current conditions on app launch. The extra click is annoying.
2. Create a custom iPhone app and not a mirror of the website.
3. Can we have widgets to display current conditions?
4. Please add velocity product to local radar.

Not a good app
Hand over fist, for weather channel info. It’s a bad app

Wow, first thing this app asks for is your email? I guess so it can track you, send you junk email, et. So if you don’t have a VPN or anti-virus this app is for you. Can’t even open the app to explore it and then decide. 👎👎👎
Just ok
The app is better than the big commercial ones but still not great. Glitchy at times and it’s not uncommon for the daily forecast to be off 5 degrees.
Great forecast info
The forecast information and map tools are really fantastic. They have great insight for agricultural forecasting and also pavement forecasting. They’re now cast provide great information for your location and depending on what year you pay for they have a great live chat feature where you can talk straight to a meteorologist about questions for your local forecast. I gave the system of three out of five for the simple fact that you cannot track your phones location and get an alert based on your actual locationthe location that you have to be predefined in the app so if you travel a lot, this may not be ideal for you

Great resource
I have been evaluating the app for a use in a public safety application. I have been very impressed with the notifications, radar accuracy, Now Cast information, and lightning alerts. I am hopeful we are able to continue using the application. It has been a valuable tool to ensure safety at outdoor events. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the service to anyone in public safety or just a weather enthusiast.

It is very good, but it has some pricing issues.
I am giving this a five because I believe it deserves it. But $85 should get you the future snow and radar. and if they add that it would be perfect. But other than that, I would lower it down to $30 because it is not worth that much. But like I said if they added that, and that would make it worth the price, but as of now it is not really worth the price so I would rate and I hope you guys see this so you can fix this.

Overall good but has its drawbacks
For $80 a year it should be able to “follow my location” and have a home location saved.
Not worth $85 a year
So I signed up for their lowest tier plan. It's definitely not worth it. Yes, it's a basic weather app. Radar is "smoothed” you could get a great yearly plan with Radar Omega or Radar Scope for 85 a year. Weather app Wxl23 is a great free app to pull weather models (GFS, HRRR and so on), CPC Outlooks, meso discussions and so on for free. Bypass this until Clarity adds much more to their app.

Only gives you 10 day forecast not monthly or long range.
