Saylor was absolutely wonderful! She stepped in on short notice and immediately put us at ease. She bonded so naturally with our 6-year-old daughter, who had an absolute blast and kept asking when Saylor could come back.

Every time I have used bambino, I have been pleasantly surprised and blown away by the quality of engaging, reliable and trustworthy sitters who show up. Booking, communication and payment through the app is easy and I would definitely suggest to families seeking last-minute Childcare.

great app! love that it lets you be a sitter under 18 too! the one thing i have to complain about, though, is that the app takes part of the compensation you’re paid. it’s only like $2 and hour that they take but still. i get that they need to make money and that’s how they make some but charging the parents two dollars extra than the hourly rate and taking it when you didn’t sit it weird to me. but app works well and i love that i get recommended families that are walking distance from my house.

Need background checks for parents
I have been babysitting on this app for 3 years and I’ve had wonderful experiences. However, it doesn’t seem that parents also get background checked. As a sitter, I would like to know if the house that I am stepping into is a safe environment. It is important to acknowledge the safety for the sitter as well as the family. There is no marking on the parent’s profile that shows that they have been background checked.

Camila did a wonderful job with our two grandsons (ages 6 and 20 months) who are visiting from out of the country. Camila approached them warmly and they immediately felt comfortable with her.

Would love per child pricing
I really enjoy using the app, and it’s been great, I’ve had positive experiences overall.
One feature I’d love to see is the ability to set rates based on the number of children. Right now, if I accept a booking at my minimum rate, a family can request care for multiple kids and the app still only charges my one child rate. I think sitters should be able to reflect that in their pricing. Adding per child or tiered rates would make the platform much fairer for both sitters and families.

ABSOLUTE SAFETY FAILURE — Dangerous sitter and zero company accountability
I am writing this as a severe warning to every single parent considering this app. Through Bambino, we hired a sitter named Attiya Bano, who had seemingly perfect reviews. She proceeded to endanger my child through gross negligence.
When my husband discovered this and asked her to leave, she escalated the situation dramatically. She began acting erratically, throwing food from our refrigerator and scattering toys across the house. When we insisted she leave, she fabricated a claim that my husband physically assaulted her. This led to my husband being wrongfully detained and forced to go to court.
Thank God we had hidden security cameras inside our home. The moment the footage was presented, the false charges were dropped immediately.
When I contacted Bambino to report this dangerous individual, their response was completely devoid of care or concern. Instead of taking immediate accountability or showing empathy for our family's safety, their team simply started spewing legal jargon to shield themselves. To my knowledge, this woman is still active on their platform.
Bambino’s vetting process and reviews cannot be trusted. Their lack of accountability is astounding. I will never use this app again, and I urge every mother and father to look elsewhere for childcare. Your family's safety is not worth the risk.

This was the first time I’d ever left my daughter with a sitter, so I was naturally very nervous. She immediately made my daughter feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I checked in a few times throughout the night, and each time my daughter told me how much fun she was having. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was in such great hands. I truly appreciate the care and kindness she showed, and I wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again.
