How does BandNavi help me find new music?
BandNavi helps you find new music by tracing relationships between musicians. You can start with a song from your library and see who played on it, then explore the bands those musicians are in, and so on, creating a network of discoveries.
Can I play music directly from BandNavi?
Yes, you can play music stored in your iPod library directly from the 'Library' tab within BandNavi. When you find a band you're interested in, a play button will appear next to its name, allowing you to play their music.
Does BandNavi require an internet connection?
Yes, BandNavi requires a network environment to connect to its database server. It is not possible to use the application without an active internet connection.
Is the band member information in BandNavi always accurate?
The band member information is collected using web mining technology and may sometimes include mistakes. You can confirm the source web pages for member names via the Option Button next to the member's name.
What happens if the server doesn't have member names?
If the server does not have specific member names, BandNavi will display member names from the MusicBrainz database. This ensures you still get information even when direct data is unavailable.
