Some features need improvement
I really want to move from Songkick, but the lack of a deep scan of my Spotify playlists mean I will have to manually add many artists to get the tour alerts I want. Songkick seems to alert me when artists who are featured on songs I’ve liked, artists I didn’t even know I was following. Implement something similar and I’m all in

Not a huge concert goer but certainly three times a year. Love that I can simply check Bandsintown to see what’s available, what’s coming up and ask it to send me a reminder. I feel confident I’m getting accurate information.

Spambot
Continuous spam about irrelevant bands that aren’t even playing in your town, no good way to restrict it by geo or even specific bands.
Abuse
Do you like getting emails you didn’t opt into from a big variety of addresses, making it hard to block them all? Do you like when a company ignores email unsubscribes and spam reports? Yes? This is the app for you.
Pos
Literally is always crashing, the app and website. No matter what i do. Started out of nowhere too, i’ve deleted the app restarted it everything and it keeps stating it has a network error… no updates or anything. Website does not let me log in and I honestly hate this app. 0/10 do not recommend

I get great notifications
Like I said I get notifications of bands I choose. Very useful.
Notifications lol
The notifications it sends are very baity, but otherwise really good and well-done app. By that I mean like receiving notifications that make you think you purchased tickets when you didn’t. “Don’t forget about your tickets for ____, they’re in town next week!” Gives me a scare every time. Other than that, the UI is very accessible. Overall a very clean app.

Perfect for being in the know when traveling…
When I went to Seattle ‘bands in town’ app, let me know that Foo Fighters was in town with the Pretenders opening up for them! It was amazing! I was lucky enough to see the show. Thanks to bandsintown!

App crashes
I really love the app and think it’s so helpful to stay up to date on my favourite artists. However I’ve not been able to work the app for weeks as it constantly says there has been an issue communicating with the servers which has stopped me from using the app.
