When it works it’s great
I can’t seem to get this app to work half the time when I want to use it. It never gives me notifications anymore. Half the time when I open it, there’s just a black screen and it freezes. Sometimes it loads the landing page but that page is empty with a “something went wrong try again” message and load button.
I love the idea of this app. But honestly apps like Ticketmaster basically do the same thing. I just dislike how annoying Ticketmaster is.

Bandsintown is so good , it has led to so many great nights I can’t even count. I have no idea how it works so well no matter where you are in the world, but it is amazing.

Switching Locations
I like the ongoing improvements to BiT. One that I wish you’d undertake is that when you change your preferred location to search for shows, the dashboard would reflect those in that city. As it is, the venues and shows it displays on the interface remain from the prior city you searched.
Another upgrade would be to be able to have multiple cities saved as favorites. I’m pretty much equidistant between 3 major cities and would like them saveable so I could toggle between them.

Love this app
They get me to spend all my money on concerts and even keep me up to date on hyper local shows. But also they keep showing me NYC events no matter how small I make the radius settings, I don’t get it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It simply didn’t work as it was supposed to.
This finds the music!
I travel a LOT and when you’re in a different city every week, this app is an invaluable resource in finding great shows!
Exceptional Music Only
Bands in town is perfect for letting me know when listening parties and concerts are coming up. I’m Bluegrass obsessed and you guys have made a lot of dreams come true just by sharing the info. I will continue to use this app in the future and will also pass along the information to my friends so they don’t miss out on the goodness, either.

The only solid events calendar in every city.
No idea how it works all venues in Pittsburgh plus all the bars with a guitar guy. 100% accurate. App barely functions and hasn’t been updated in a decade but who cares
Classic and still my favorite
There are lots of other apps doing the same thing but Bandsintown makes it easy to find new music, small venues and save events. It is not selling my info or creeping past where I allow access. It’s like a friend that hooks me up with the goods on local music.

Loved the app till I got logged out and now, even though I send and accepted a confirmation email, it still locks me out saying I need to verify my account.

Tools are great but
Having to sign up to view concert and artist info is absolutely counter intuitive in this age. People want to click and see, not spend 20 mins signing up for some new password to remember just to see who’s playing g tonight. Seriously rethink this approach

Great App
I really like Bandsintown app because I get instant alerts when my favorite bands go on the road or when they drop a new song announcement. It also shows what’s going on around my area.
