1990 wants its banking app back
This app looks & feels like it is from 1990. The login process is poor and frequently breaks. The UI is utterly terrible, it feels like United puts no effort into this. The shoddy app is one of the reasons I am moving my biz banking somewhere else.
Worst business bank app
Mobile app is a headache. Just reset my password after not using the app for six months due to issues logging in only to deal with the same issues. Having a business banking mobile app where you canāt actively monitor business finances has a negative impact on the business account. This is a serious issue. Makes me want to do business with a different bank.

Seriously difficult to use. Logs me out every week or so. As others say, this is the worst banking app Iāve used. It is absurdly difficult to get to statements that you want to download. The UI makes no sense at all. The app requires an SMS code entirely too frequently. Itās almost like they do not understand how to do security. Worse still, hardly any improvement in the app over the past 10 years.

Company ID
Every time I log into this banking app, I have to enter my company ID. Even after clicking save info on the home screen I still have to enter my company ID and all of my identifying information. Every time I login this app is pointless and useless at times.
Still Quite Poor for 2024
Terrible! This is the worst financial app I have ever used. Someone should send it back to 2014. Tiny fonts and limited functions make this seem it was copied from an example app. A recent āupdateā is limited to a new font and removing access to statements. Iām not sure how anything was improved. Despite three different credentials and Face ID I am still required to enter an SMS code every time I want to login. Itās difficult to understand how this app could get such high ratingsā¦Are the reviews shills?

The recent update seems limited to a new font and removing access to statements. Iām not sure how anything was improved. Now it is more tricky to enable Face ID for login. Also lacking are settings inside the app. This this app could hardly be any more bare bones. It works like an app from 2010 not 2024. It does not inspire confidence.

Why donāt you pay attention to the details?
Please, have someone design these apps that does not use his/her cellphone for all communication. Why would you disable the capability of using this in landscape mode? Read the room guysā¦your target audience is not the 20 something that spends their spare time on TikTok.

My buisness has been with United Bank since 1998 when my personal bank wouldnāt give me a āBuisness Loanā. United has stayed with me when times got tough.
Please fix
Every other week I have to reset my password AFTER using my face recognition. In order to reset it makes me call in. This is becoming an annoyance at this point.

Not thrilled
Itās difficult to long in. I canāt properly locate things. Iām looking for ACH and canāt find it. I need this process t be mor simplistic.
Useless
Mobile deposit gives consistent error message that it cannot find check endorsement regardless if it is stamped or hand written. After about 10 tries it accepts the check endorsement under exact same conditions. It doesnāt have problem reading the front of check, only on the back of check is the problem. This the only reason why I will change banks as everything else is mostly acceptable.

Itās unfortunately the only app
So this app is a real pain in the ā¦ā¦..constantly making you change passwords that you have never, ever used so you can easily forget the new ones. On top of that trying to log in (commercial account) is ridiculously complex, having to know info that I have to flip through files to find. Deposits work fine, the balance is usually very correct, and it doesnāt crash, but for the above reasons I canāt give it more than 3 stars.

The 5-star reviews cannot be legit. Yes, mobile check deposit worksāmost of the timeābut this is expected in 2023. The app is so basic in functions that itās a disappointment. You can see your balance and transactions. Even view statements (which is a recent improvement). But thereās no kind of account alerts, fraud alerts, and no way to contact United. This app is about what one would expect in 2010. And it looks like that too.

Business app
The business app is not up to par. You cant see what bills you have submitted thru online bill pay. This resulted in me paying a bill twice. Just not impressed with it.

Error code
This is the only app I use that constantly generates an error code while downloading updates. Rarely get to check my accounts on the go using app.
