I really love the videos and the master list. Inputting products was easy! It’s when I got to Recipes, that I was a bit overwhelmed. Also, super busy & not very “Excel” experienced.

As we all know, inventory control is a key to profitability. It was easy for my bar manager to install into implement and provided me with the proper information that I needed to operate my business
Great inventory app
I’ve used the app for a couple of years now and it works great. Every once in a while it’s a little buggy but the price point is perfect for small local bars that don’t take in millions.

Time Saver
The Positive: We switched from manual paper inventory to Bar Patrol a few years ago. This app has been one of the most effective time savers we’ve found. Physically counting the inventory is a breeze now and our ordering process was reduced by about 95%. The manager does a quick count and our orders take about 5 minutes to place. This system saved me (owner) about 4hrs a week.
The Negative: Every few months a connection problem occurs. We typically reset our wifi and iPad and it works great. I’m pretty sure it is our wifi that is updating it’s IP or something and causing the issue.
The Negative: Setup was a project. After some frustration, I emailed the company that I was struggling with setting it up. The owner Dave promptly responded to my email and actually took a direct phone call to clear up the issues. Again, the problem was on our end and we were able to use some of the additional resources Dave provided to get up and running. This is a great system that has been consistently improving and the customer service we’ve received has been nothing short of excellent. Thanks to Dave & Bar Patrol, inventory is automated and no longer a weekly obstacle.

Useful but laggy
Great app I used to prove a point to ownership about inaccurate serving and recording of sales by the staff. Was able to prove the discrepancies within the first 2 shifts we used it. Not the most intuitive app and it’s pretty laggy and takes a long time to load but when it’s working, it works great. Loading all of the items took awhile and I couldn’t get my excel spreadsheet to load in so I had to go back in and add each item individually but that process on the app was fairly quick and easy.

solid inventory app
Used this to help inventory issues with a brewery I was managing. Helped to very quickly prove to the owner about over pouring and theft going on. Found discrepencies the first time taking inventory.

I really tried
I really tried to love this app but it is way to slow and laggy for us. Takes forever to load or enter information. Also tells me there’s nothing needed to order when my inventory is low.
Slow and full of error.
Full of errors. Constantly cannot connect to the database. The imported weights are very wrong if they have them at all. The app is slow and crashes constantly on the newest iOS version and 13 pro. Very dissatisfied as it is cheaper, more accurate and I practical on paper. Especially given the price.

Awesome Bar Inventory System
I used to take inventory old school with a spreadsheet and switching over to Bar Patrol has been heaven sent. Inventory now takes me 30 min and I’m able to order and invoice everything automatically. Couldn’t be happier with this app.

We use this app for both the bar and the restaurant to count food inventory. It’s easy to use, very affordable and the support his first class. Couldn’t be happier.
Best bang for the buck
Very happy with this app. I was using Partender and paying 4 times as much and it only does about 70% of what Bar Patrol can do. Saves me a ton of time and money and it’s more accurate with the blue tooth scale. Plus the support is amazing. Highly recommend it.
Best Inventory App Around
We were using Bev Spot inventory system and paying $350 per month. Since then we found a Bar Patrol. It does the exact same thing as Bev spot but for only $59 per month. Plus it has a Bluetooth scale which is more accurate. Awesome app. Couldn’t be happier.
Asset protection!!!
I was weary about this product until I started using it. Quick, efficient and addicting. I had my hiccups but Dave made the time to personally reach out and walk me through everything. Being in this business doesn’t allow for much time when you’re a do it yourself person but this has scaled my monthly and sometimes weekly inventories in to at least half to a quarter of the time. Thank you for helping me protect my assets.

Have been using it for my retail business to manage inventory. Helps me stay connected to my business on the go. Quick sales features is really awesome. Waiting for quickbooks integration.
For bar owners
I thought it was an app for how to find good bars in your area but it's actually a tool to set up a budget and money management for pub owners. Pretty good and has many features. If I may suggest something I would add a feature that can find market products with brand names so that you don't have to type everything in.
