User Friendly - Straight Forward
I’ve been completely satisfied with the Orca Scanner. Personally I work with 4 manufacturers in the Northwest, and I’ve never been more happy than I am now with how easy the Orca Scanner works! Easy to use, easy to read, & always accurate! Our company produces a lot of scans for reordering screws, fasteners, and electronics in the Aerospace Industry. I feel like Orca Scanner is without a doubt the kind of business partner & tool you want in the field.

App dose not input information the first time you scan your inventory have to do it multiple times before it finally updates

I used this app one single time.
Despite my account clearly showing I was on the Free plan (with invoices of $0/month), OrcaScan charged my debit card $20 every month anyway.
Timeline, since facts matter:
• First unauthorized charge: June 2025
• Repeated charges: July, August, September, October, November, December 2025, and January 2026
• First email to OrcaScan disputing this: September 9, 2025
• Total attempts to resolve: 5+ emails (Rhys, Owen)
Their explanation?
They “can’t find my account.”
That excuse doesn’t hold up when they somehow had no problem finding my debit card every single month.
I provided:
• Screenshots of my account showing $0 invoices
• Bank records showing repeated $20 charges
• Written notice revoking any permission to bill my card
The charges continued anyway.
Billing someone without consent after being explicitly told to stop — and then blaming an internal “billing issue” while doing nothing to fix it — is unacceptable. At best, this is gross negligence. At worst, it borders on predatory.
I regret downloading it, and I regret not reviewing until now.

The last four card digits you shared matched a different account, and as the last four digits aren’t unique, we require confirmation before making any billing changes to avoid impacting the wrong customer. Won’t work on computer, must have online account
I shouldn’t have to create an account with a company in order to track my inventory. I know youre data mining. Also, the app downloaded from the MacBook App Store won’t work. So, even though I can scan things on my iPhone, it is pretty pointless since I can’t view them on my computer without exporting the scanned items via a spreadsheet or CVS, and at that point, what’s the point of using the app. I’m working on coding my own inventory tracking software that I’ll put for free up here.
