Easy fix for five stars
There’s really only one thing I want to eat from this restaurant, and it’s the Beyond burger. And I would like to be able to order it through the app without cheese (real or otherwise). However, for reasons unknown, it is impossible to remove the cheese using the app. This appears to be the only item on the menu that does not have this as an option. As no one reads special instructions notes (I can’t blame them because people are quite bizarre), this means the app is entirely useless to me. Otherwise, a great restaurant, but one incredibly easy to fix shortcoming in the app would make this a five-star review.

Useless
Downloaded the app and set up an account then it wouldn't recognize my address no matter what I tried, even though I know there's a location nearby and order delivery from it every month or so on other platforms. Fix this!
App doesn’t work for delivery
Every time I put in my address for delivery, it says address not found. Looks like this is only for store pick ups. I’ll stick to using Uber Eats/GrubHub
Poor Customer Service
An employee informed me of a promotion and after I followed her instructions, I was told that they could not comply. Additionally the manager Charlie Rivera had the audacity to berate me over the phone. I will never support that location again
BEWARE!! App will rob you
Beware! This app will charge your credit card and then not put the order through. This just happened to me and when I called Bareburger, they refused to honor the order, a promo code, and points that I had accumulated.

Doesn’t work
This app hasn’t worked right in years. Tried again with the update. Still doesn’t work. Every time I try to use it I can’t check out. Says I have the wrong phone number - nope. Says my order amount can’t be verified. Error after error. I have rewards I can’t use. Maybe that’s why.

Once you enter your address for delivery, it goes to a map screen with locations to choose which to order from., but this screen doesn't accept touch input so you can't place an order. There's no support contact or place to leave a bug report, hence this one star review — smile

App used to be decent
Food is still great, app not so much. Won’t accept Bareburger gift cards for example. The app also “standardizes” your billing address, and then gives you an error every time you order stating that the billing address is wrong. Of course it’s wrong, I input the right one and the app changed it.

App (and web page) is consistently glitchy. Promo codes rarely work as advertised.
No customer service
I had $5 in my account that disappeared. I also had a big purchase that somehow didn’t apply to my points. I emailed costumer service multiple times to have the $5 refunded and get points added for new over $200 purchase. I got zero response. 1 year is long enough for someone to help with the issue.

The app, miraculously, got worse. At least you used to be able to customize just about anything on the menu. Now you have to start with something that’s just exactly the right thing and hopefully you can customize it the way you want it. Also, it didn’t allow me to put in my apartment and it originally thought that my address in Manhattan doesn’t exist.

Broken after the update
This was a solid app and I love my Bareburgers. They recently did an “upgrade” though and now it just doesn’t work. Sometimes the UI freezes, so I have to kill it. If I manage to submit the order, it crashes right after. Today, I just cannot submit an order at all and it gives me a generic error with no explanation after Apple Pay goes through.
