There are two issue with bark and that is that you can’t do anything, play any music (not just for kids by the way), can’t even scan QR code codes, and you can’t even see images at a point, I would give this zero star review if I could but I can’t. Second and final thing, you can’t even do Google maps can’t even see where your I got lost on the middle of a ride home from Florida from Disney World because wouldn’t let me use my Maps. In conclusion don’t use bark.

Ts dumb asf
I have never written a review in the App Store before. But all of this company's products are simply terrible. To start, none of their software tells you anything. You have to go to their website for that. But good luck finding any documentation, or even what is going on with your monitored devices - the website is terrible to navigate. And when a device doesn't connect or scan, you never know why. They do have a decent chat support system that will (eventually) connect you to a human. But the whole experience is terrible. Oh - and their Mac software will not be supported on the next version of Mac OS, v28.

I am trying to edit my child’s Bark Watch contacts from the Parental Control app on my iPhone, and the option to do so has completely vanished.
They have one job. Make it easy to give my kids a watch. Their very basic instructions don’t match anything in their app. Waste of time
Watches are subpar and when I reached out to them they said I need to pay them off to get a new one but wasn’t able to pay them off when I initially bought them. Not a fan overall. And their support on Apple devices is lackluster at best. Overall disappointing.
We got the Bark Phone. I want to cry. I have spent HOURS, literally hours trying to connect the phone to our WiFi. I feel like something should be available to check this problem BEFORE buying the phone.
It’s something
this app almost drove me to off myself . I had no privacy . mind you , im old enough to control my own phone .
Amazing! My son went for a sleepover in the trees with his girlfriend; he took rope and a chair🥰!!!! He hasn't came back since!!' This app is super helpful!!
This app on iOS is useless. Your parental controls on iPhone do far more than Bark. I also purchased the sync device and it doesn’t even work due to a server error. I am sure bark for Android is better or their phone, but DO NOT waste your money on the iPhone version.
The best thing they have going for them is the device needs to be plugged in most the day to analyze the information, therefore your kids won’t be able to use their phones!
if you want a loving, trusting relationship with your child, take some advice from somebody who grew up with bark & will be an adult soon. this app is extremely invasive in every way. yes, it's important to protect your children on the internet, especially if they are younger, but this app takes it to the extreme. it's not protection, it's an invasion of privacy. almost every single app i had was blocked.. even amazon? i could only use imessage. but even imessage was monitored, as it showed my parents every single text i sent and received. i had almost ZERO friends in middle school because of this. people stopped talking to me because they knew my parents would see every single text they sent. not only was this app terribly invasive, but it KILLED my phone. first, the VPN didn't let me have any cellular data, so i couldn't message my parents if i were anywhere without wifi. this resulted in me being left at school for hours after it was over because i couldn't contact my dad to pick me up. wanna know the worst part? my phone progressively got laggier and stopped working with time as i had this app, and eventually, my phone shut off at full battery and never turned on again! hundreds of dollars down the drain. it took that for my parents to realize that this app is pointless spyware / malware. this app only made me more depressed and made me rebel WAY more after i was free from it. there are so many better ways to protect your child online while keeping their trust. talk to them, teach them about the importance of internet safety, even use the built in parental controls on their phones.

I got this app for my son he wasn’t happy but that’s a good thing and he brought a knife into his room and hadn’t came out since he has to clean the ketchup out side his for
I highly recommend the bark watch for your child. 10/10
This app honestly made my kid not want to share anything with me, she said that it makes her feel like she’s being stalked. Do not recommend.
Not real clear on what to do and how to make sure you get what you want in monitoring
Not really Barks fault but it is basically a useless app when used with IOS. It can’t do anything more than Apple parental control does on its own. Wish Bark had disclosed that up front before I went through the (painful) set up process and expense. What a waste of time.
Bro this app is useless. It invades your privacy 24/7 and won’t let you even listen to music in peace. A song will get flagged for sexual content as if I’m going to have sex with a full grown man after I listen to it. “Don’t worry, we don’t invade your privacy. We were teenagers too!” That was the biggest lie I have ever been told when I was setting that stupid app up. How am I supposed to do that when my screen is being monitored all the time? And don’t even hit me with the “I understand how you feel”. You clearly don’t. Kids online say that this app is the reason why they don’t trust their parents or get along with them. Now I understand why this app is called “bark”. It’s annoying, like a dog barking nonstop.

This app and platform are both absolute garbage. I wanted to use this primarily to monitor social media in text messages and this app does not monitor any social media platforms on iOS except YouTube. Are they transparent about that? No. So you spend your money only to find out that you can’t monitor on iOS. It takes a good two hours to update. And it’s so archaic. I do not recommend this to anyone. You are better off just giving your kids full reign of their phones and Internet than using this. It’s worthless. I wish there was recourse for a refund. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB because they are scamming people who are looking to protect their children. Save your money .
