Martin contacted me after I put a request up. He arrived exactly on time to have a look at what needed doing. I was pleasantly surprised that he doesn’t charge to come out and give a quote. We agreed on a price, he went off to get the bits required and came back and finished the job. He left the place clean and tidy and I would have no hesitation in using his services again.

App won’t even load when I try and open it.
UPDATE: developer suggested I reinstall the app and get the latest version. I reinstalled the app. Still doesn’t work. If I could give fewer than one star I would.

I’ve been scammed by one of the contractors from Bark. The company only did half of my gutters,but charged me full price. I received a call that I need urgent work carried out on my roof, they were supposed to come and do it the next day, they did come, take the payment, and left without doing anything. This was confirmed by another profesional when I had suspicions about the business and the time they spent cleaning the gutters. When I reported this to Bark, they stated they can not help as it was a cash payment, they didn’t investigate and accepted that contractors are scamming customers, they haven’t removed the contractor from the website to prevent this from happening to others .They received evidence of this including CCTV. I am £750 out of pocket, with no work to show for this. The company has also now blocked my phone number, after asking for invoices and receipts for the work they supposedly carried out. I can not imagine that in these days, websites such as Bark would allow this scam to happen, I can only imagine how many people this has happened to who are unable to check if the work has been done. I work hard to provide for my family, not to have a large chunk of money taken for a scam.
