Poor service, unhappy customer
Unfortunately, this was a very poor experience. Our delivery took 2.5 hours to arrive, despite several phone calls to the restaurant and two emails to Barrow Eats. In the end we did receive the order, but by that time our Saturday family evening had already been ruined. We have two children who ended up sitting hungry until 9 pm while we were waiting. There was no proper communication and no meaningful apology. Sadly, this is not the level of service customers should expect. I cannot recommend Barrow Eats based on this experience. 1 star

Does not allow you to review restaurants
Does not allow you to review restaurants. They customer service was helpful when delivered a terrible order but since you can’t leave a review you don’t have input on other customers experiences. If they change that I would give it a 5 star rating
Decent local app
Great app for the local community. Only downside is I get told either my food is on the way or delivered a day later, which then I have to check if I’m still drunk. Seriously, sort the notifications out.

No refunds
After ordering a Chinese on Saturday and having three main items missing then not being able to get hold off the restaurant, I emailed customer service and told them about my issue and politely said I’m not bothered about a full refund only a half refund for my missing items after two days off back and forth it was ultimately declined.

Poor service
Although they take a cut of the profits, Barrow Eats wont do anything to assist with incorrect orders. The contact info for the vendor is provided, which is usually wrong, so theyre not bothering to keep these up to date. Also they wont update my number, ive asked twice, as everytime i update it on the app it just reverts to the old number. Simply a middle man to take profit.

APP NOT WORKING…
The app isn’t working for me every takeaway just says no delivery menu available! Pls fix
Orders 1hr+ late due to slow system
I’ve used this app 4 times, and at least twice the food has come more than an hour late (different restaurants). The restaurant said often the system just doesn’t print out the order and can be really slow, and recommended I didn’t use it again. I won’t. Abysmal.

App advertised one hour wait for food at point of ordering. Delivery took almost three hours. Barrow Eats didn’t seem to care when contacted. Emails informing us our delivery was on the way arrived the day after. The app is useless when something goes slightly wrong.
Allergies GLUTEN FREE
Please put the gluten free options on the app for each takeaway, it makes it ten times easier ordering for us coeliacs so we know what we can eat! :/
Never a single order on time
I’ve used this app about 7 times in total and once my order was 15 minutes early which would have been ok but I wasn’t home at the time and all my other orders have at least been 20 minutes late including the order that I am currently waiting on which is now 30 minutes late even though I preordered it the day before

Not Good Don’t Use
Tried paying didn’t work what’s the point in this app when it doesn’t apply discounts properly and Just Eats already exists.
No option to report incomplete orders
I just received my first order. Seven items from Ieshas on Rawlinson Street. One item was missing - a naan bread. There was no option in the app to report this error. The help section offered the option to phone the vendor. I tried this but it simply didn’t work.
Continuous problems with Apple Pay
Love the app and the continued support and regular updates, unfortunately issues with Apple Pay continues to ruin the experience and forced me to pay by an alternative method

Payment system too glitchy
Sometimes paying by ApplePay and normal credit and debit card works but a lot of the time I find it just try’s and then says it cant process...deleted App and now using FoodHub
