This app used to be awesome. Now every Devlin post goes blank because of videos and ads. Make it usable again, please.
Please fix ads for iPhone viewing
Great content, but horrible interface. Oversized ads take over the screen every time I start scrolling through an article. In addition you also get weird background music playing.

Great app but the damn ads automatically playing without even being able to find it to mute makes it fustrating. Please fix it Barstool!
Soundtrack?
Annoying guitar riff starts running in the background once you open the app. Sounds like late-night Skinemax love-scene music.
How an app is this bad in 2026 is beyond me.
Random gas station music plays when the app is open, homepage or in articles. Giant out of proportion ads inline in articles require you to scroll for 20 minutes, in which you can’t even see what the ad is for or about. When trying to read an article the text constantly jumps around as various elements load slowly or not at all. It’s really a sad state of things and sort of represents where Barstool is at these days.

App Crashes And Every 2 Seconds
The app crashes every 2 seconds. And most recently it randomly starts playing some music riff across the entire platform. I click into an article and with a few seconds the screen zooms in 10000x and freezes. I’ve tried updated the app and it didn’t fix anything. It’s been like this for as long as I can remember. Please fix your app.

Awful
So so awful. I’m actually in shock that one of the largest media companies in the country could have such a terrible app. Horrible interface, extremely glitchy, everything is out of order, and it’s visually terrible with the text size and picture size. I seriously have nothing good to say. And I LOVE barstool and am a die hard fan of a ton of their personalities, content, shows, and podcasts. I sincerely hope they can fix the awful app.

Terrible Ad Experience
I don’t post reviews too much. I had to for this app. Content is excellent. Big fan of several writers on the platform.
However, the ad delivery makes consumption of the content impossible. When an ad is delivered during the reading of an article or the watching of a video, the entire page jumps up or down repeatedly. As a result, I either quit the article, or close the app entirely so I don’t rage throw my device out of the window.
For the love of God, fix the damn ad delivery. Please.

The Cleveland Tourism video of apps
Can’t read the content because the adds grows in size Messi g with the display. Want to watch a video or clip, you get Rick rolled except with a spinning wheel. They did t even design the app to fit in the screen. It too big, words Dave has never heard.

Very glitchy app, lazy staff and full on censorship of their audience while they cover their articles with cuss words and over the top innuendo.
Broken app
This app consistently crashes and causes my phone to glitch for awhile AFTER I close it out. Be forewarned

45 seconds to read an article.
Hopefully you can find your spot after the screen jumps to somewhere on the page with absolute nothingness. Using last years IPhone. Please fix. I’ve been religiously on this app since I was 18 and I’m 31. This app has’t worked right for over a year. I’ll fix the rating to 5 when it works again.
Garbage app
App rarely works. Always gets messed up with ads, company this large shouldn’t experience this with iPhone. Content is worse everyday
Awful app
The app has been messed up for a while. Spacing is terrible, extremely annoying to operate. Might want to have somebody actually do some work and double check something before you launch it
