base44 might be the single best thing i’ve ever used. especially when it’s hooked up with claude. my only complaint is all the backend data lives and stays with them. if i ever want to sell something to someone and their is sensitive information, payment history , etc and my client wants to buy and manage that from me i cannot transfer that information to him. sure could i have an ai re do it and merge all the data. i think? i don’t even know. if they fixed and changed that to be more like livable in that aspect it would be a 10/10. also very buggy on iphone but that’s fine. works great on computer

Crashes often
I can’t go into Preview mode without it crashing requiring me to close the app and open it again. I can never fully test on my phone the way the ads show.
Not useable
I tried this because the web version constantly locks up on my iPad Pro. Does it in all browsers. However, my luck wasn’t any better in the app. It’s really difficult to get into chat mode. Most of the time the button doesn’t work. Had to close and re-open the page several times. When I got in, I tapped Preview, which took me out of the app and into a browser that freezes up every time I try this. I’m basically screwed as far as trying to use Base44 on an iPad. Good concept, but way too flakey.

The worst app ever. Would just want you to keep on using integration credits over same issues again and again. And the integration credits are soo expensive. Donot get this app. It is the biggest trash.

The best one for miles
Love this, it’s expensive for a reason. If you’re just plugging in prompt after prompt to get to your goal you’re going to run out of credits. If you prioritise your prompts, it will work for you. It connects to everything beautiful! Best tool around so far ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cash grab
Unfortunately, an out her cash grab AI app not worth its weight in gold. The app itself is decent and you can create some decent stuff but you have to be in a position to spend some serious enough money to get enough credits to do so. You run out of credits so easily. Not at all worth it. Hard pass.

Very upset with my experience on Base44
In July 2026, Base44's AI builder generated faulty code that consumed 16,384 integration credits — credits I paid for through my $100/month subscription — within minutes. I did not request or authorize this consumption. It was caused entirely by a malfunction in Base44's own AI system.
When I reported the issue, Base44 support acknowledged the glitch but only restored 5,700 of the 16,384 credits, leaving a 10,684-credit shortfall. They then closed my ticket as "resolved" despite the issue remaining unresolved.
Simultaneously, Base44's billing system prevented me from downgrading my subscription from the Pro plan ($100/month) to the Builder plan ($50/month) for over 48 hours. This system failure forced me into an unwanted $100 renewal that directly benefited Base44 financially.
During the platform outage that followed, investors visiting my website found it blank. I was embarrassed in front of people backing my vision, and my reputation as a young founder was damaged. I have a partnership meeting with a youth nonprofit scheduled for July 29, and seven additional partnerships in progress — all requiring a functioning platform.
Base44's support team then offered a "resolution": a $47 refund and a downgrade to the Builder plan. However, when presenting the downgrade details, Taylor highlighted 690 MESSAGE credits as a benefit — a credit type I barely use — while making no mention of restoring the integration credits actually need. My platform's core features (Al coaching, lesson generation, speech tools) all run on integration credits, not message credits. On my current Pro plan, I have 25,700 integration credits and have used 310 this cycle. The Builder plan provides significantly fewer integration credits.
Downgrading without restoring the 10,684 integration credits destroyed by Base44's own Al would leave my platform unable to run its core features, effectively forcing me to remain on the more expensive $100 Pro plan - which is exactly what Base44's offer accomplished.
Base44's Terms of Service state that credits consumed due to platform errors "will not be restored, re-credited, or refunded." However, they already restored 5,700 credits — proving they CAN restore credits destroyed by their own errors. Their refusal to restore the remaining 10,684 is not a policy limitation; it's a choice. completely awful app
complete awful app does not do anything right does not understand what i say i and thare is no way to log out you barely get any credits and the subscription is so expensive
