Terrible app. Takes too long to load and there is no car play support. Every time i enter my building I’m technically committing an offence by using my mobile phone. Be much easier to open the gate using the cars screen.
Low performance
Page loads are so long, over 2 minutes most days
Smooth Transition
Recently moved to Base Up. App works well and the team are very supportive every step of the way. Happy to report a positive user experience upon go live!
Junkware
Piece of junk. Keep having to call security to take me out of the parking lot. Avoid at all cost.
A works in progress
I have so many questions about the design and functionality of this app
- the way it is run in my organisation is akin to everyone purchasing a ticket for a Taylor Swift concert once a week at midday in order to book the parking for the week ahead! Ridiculous!
- Why do I need to use Bluetooth, handle the phone to unlock just to register my entry to the car park - it is slow and inefficiently - why not sync with the existing and and higger tech corporate entry systems (RFID cards, numberplate recognition etc)
- profile and registrations - why can’t this app sync with corporate systems instead of unvalidated user inputs. The rego field in BaseUp is at least 32 characters long and not validated.
- In 2026, why no apple CarPlay or android auto functionality? The app encourages use of phone when operating the vehicle in the current configuration
- rego can’t be changed/swapped to another in my profile once parking is booked. Requires a cancellation -and rebook often prompting a loss of available parking.
- frequent intervention to keep booking parking every week is antiquated. Why not a profile for the whole year including user manageable holiday periods? Why can’t I ask Siri to book my next parking?
- no integration to calendar functionality of phone, reminding me of upcoming bookings, etc.
- why is there no feedback/record to user as to actual times checked in/ out of parking?
If developers need some guidance as to what constitutes a modern and competitive parking app that takes advantage of technologies of this decade, please look at the Wilson Parking app!
