Super Disappointing
I was pumped to download this app after reading all of the rave reviews, and hearing about it from friends, however, it seems to be basically nonfunctional at this point. There must’ve been an update at some point that changed the functionality.
So far we have been
- unable to update guest/guest of honor/planner status
- had a super glitchy bottom menu bar making it difficult to navigate to payments or adding items to itinerary
- had sharing activity ideas
And this is before ever trying to share expenses or anything more complicated than getting the party set up. Bummed, as I heard this would be the answer to all of our problems.

Loved this app!!!
Absolutely loved using the Batch app for my cousin’s bachelorette trip! The organization was amazing and it made everything so easy to keep up with. The polls feature was one of my favorite parts — it made planning simple and fun for everyone involved. It was also a total lifesaver when it came to splitting up money and keeping track of expenses without any confusion. Super user-friendly and made the whole experience so much less stressful. Highly recommend for any group trip or event planning!

App changes are horrible
I have used the app twice before over the years for different bachelorette parties and it was extremely helpful to be able to coordinate everything in there and be able to message each other. But all these new changes are actually horrible and I won’t be using this app anymore.

My only gripe is how money is calculated it makes it a little complicated
Updates haven’t upgraded the app
In the most recent upgrade they got rid of group messaging. Which is really inconvenient especially since the group message we already had going with important information was deleted. Really disappointing
So glitchy
Hadn't even been on the app for a full minute before it started glitching. I was trying to set up custom splitting of a bill and got the error message. It gave me the option to "restart and report" or "restart without reporting" and guess what? The restart and report button didn't even work
Only useful if you are planning within the USA
Was a great app until I realized it only allows to add or search for US cities. Deleted app.
Chat
Lots of great things about this app but the fact that they are taking away the chat options basically eliminates half its purpose. If I wanted multiple text group chats I wouldn’t have downloaded the app to begin with.
Updates
They keep making horrible updates to the app and just announced they’re removing their chat feature!
Regret Using This for My Bachelorette Trip
I’m honestly shocked that this app is so highly rated. I chose Batch to plan a very simple bachelorette trip to Palm Springs, and it has been frustrating from the start.
One of the biggest issues is the group chat feature. At first, there were no notification options, so messages could easily be missed. Meanwhile, every time I make a small edit to the itinerary, everyone in the group gets notified. The notification priorities make no sense.
Now the app is removing the ability to message people entirely. That completely defeats the purpose of a group trip planning app. If I can’t communicate with my group in the same place where the itinerary, expenses, and trip details live, what is the point of using this app at all?
It feels like the app is actively removing one of the most basic and necessary features for coordinating a trip. I regret using Batch to plan my bachelorette and wish I had chosen a different platform from the start.

Love Batch, Meh Updates
I’ve been using batch to plan parties for years. It is great to find things to do in new cities and get everyone on the same page planning wise. However, the new updates to add events to the itinerary are downgrades. The time and date functionality are consistently resetting and not as predictive and user friendly as they were in older versions of the app.

I kept seeing ads for this app and finally downloaded it. It's actually very helpful with planning a weekend. You can also link Venmo and coordinate payments, make dress codes, I didn't realize there were so many helpful things. It also gives suggestions for popular things in the area which would help if you're going somewhere unfamiliar.

Currently trying to plan an international trip but my itinerary is showing all out of order as far as times of reservations and the date sometimes too. I imagine it’s due to timezone differences but it’s making the app ineffective. Please fix!
Okay
I can see the potential and I love that. But I hardly spent anytime on the app and it’s already crashed 3 times. First time made my phone freeze for minutes. Also not very many options for stay and outings if you don’t do a popular place like Nashville. I like the organization though!
Unnecessary
MOH for a Las Vegas bachelorette party and bride insisted on using this app. There are way too many ads and ‘recommendations’ from the app for places to stay/activities. Even once you create a party, you scroll for one second and the rest is just ads/recommendations despite having everything planned/entered into the app. Because of how the app is organized prioritizing getting people to book things through the app, even once you click on your party, it’s not very well designed/easy to navigate.
Email thread + google sheets is a way better and easier way to plan/keep track of things.

Ozark Bach Party
I’m so excited to continue exploring this app! So far I’m impressed by the ability to add travel plans for each member, split expenses and use Venmo to pay, and add the itinerary for everyone to easily read all the information. I wish there were more activities in our area to explore and book through the app.

Perfect for trip planning
As many know trip planning and organizing can be stressful and it’s hard getting everyone on the same page. This app made planning my trip and logistics soooo much better! I love the layout and i love how it includes splitting costs and budgets because it avoids all unnecessary drama so everyone can have a great time! Would definitely recommend!
