This system is very useful and easy to use. I love that I can operate it from anywhere in the world. The response is fast and makes you and your family feel safe

Really Bad product. Everything from lifetime of Keyfobs to the App it is just a bad all around experience

Constant problems with the app, it doesn’t allow me to use the functions it’s supposed to. Customer service is slow to support. Tech support is also slow to support. On site support is hard to get and typically late.
BAY
Why does the BAY logo look like a swastika ? I see the founders are German ? Asking for a friend.

I only use the app very infrequently. But having to re-enter my id and password every time I try to use it just doesn’t make it user friendly. It seems the app constantly needs to be updated for bugs. So if I want to use the app I need to be prepared when I go on trips to have a physical backup PW and ID or remember to re-enter the PW before I go on trips. Either way, I need to re-enter my credentials every time I plan to use the app. Frustrating and unnecessary.

Impossible bill paying
The service is absolutely great. However, when it comes to paying a bill it is almost impossible. You cannot call to pay it as payments over the phone are not accepted. You must use a third party portal which is non user friendly and is almost impossible to use and figure out. The other option requires you to mail them a check which is very inconvenient.

Works with legacy system
The latest version works with our Honeywell legacy system. It doesn’t have a lot of features and is not super fast, but certainly can be used to turn the system on and off.

Unable to access the panel away from home
We’ve been Bay customers for almost 10 years. We are overseas and received a low battery alert but are UNABLE to bypass that device.

Slow
Takes forever for this app to respond and continue to say there is an error. Eventually it arms the alarm. Just don’t count on it disarming your alarm and getting into your house if you have to quickly.
Bad app.
This app has been very temperamental. Sometimes it works great other times I can’t get through to put my passcode in.
Abysmal customer service
Bay Alarm offers no post-installation service. Either you are left to figure out any issue on your own or you will be charged hefty fees to diagnose any issue.
We used Bay Alarm for 8+ years and are now fed up and plan to cancel our subscription.

Poor service
My camera has been out of service for sometime, the last person that came to fix it, tried two new ones, would not work, he thinks it is something with the manufacture, prior to that I called about needed repairs the person I spoke to said she no record that I even had a camera, I asked for a supervisor she they have a lot and don’t want their numbers given out. I don’t like to pay for something I’m not getting, but it doesn’t seem to bother bay alarm

Great idea but glitchy!
I was excited to use this however the more I use it, the less success I have in setting my alarm or disarming my system. Just trying to get the sign in button to work is my biggest frustration. Once signed in, it often will not reflect the status of the alarm system (e.g., states armed however system is disarmed). The refresh button states it is updated but does not appear to be accurate. Great idea but this works about 55% of the time for me. The key fob worked so much better!
