5th ruleset is confusing
Good game, but the 5th Ruleset is unplayable for me - why aren’t Civ borders displayed?
Figuring it out
It’s hard to get info even in the encyclopedia, I’m trying to figure out how to connect cities across water and I know it was mentioned but I couldn’t go back, to actually read and understand how to do so. But it’s been fun so far, i been playing civ 4 and the actions are similar which makes it easier to play

A very fun experience with a lot of in-depth systems.
My only issues with it are the use of leader names of other nations and the spelling of Kyiv-Rus’. When other nations talk to you about wars, it shows the leader name rather than the country or the flag. It would be clearer if it showed the country’s name instead.
In regards to Kyiv-Rus’, it uses the Russified name of Kiev-Rus’. It should be Kyiv, as this is the correct translation of the city Kyiv (Київ/Keeyiv).

Pop up scams!!

This is the first mobile game I’ve seen that uses regular internet-style pop-up ads, and it completely ruins any chance of enjoying the experience. On top of that, the game asks you to enter your credit card just to remove the ads, which feels like a blatant scam. I refuse to support such a grimy business model. Even for an older game, this approach is unacceptable and an instant uninstall for me.

Nostalgic
Absolutely amazing game, takes me back in time to the hours I’d spend trying to master Civ. Ads don’t interrupt game play and you can easily spend hours at a time absorbed in achieving world domination!

Love this game. However, I recently got back into it and it seems to crash sometimes when I try to go to the next turn, which obviously disrupts gameplay.

I don’t know if it’s your new update or something, but now it just keeps crashing after almost every turn when I try to advance to the next turn.

Ads always pause any audio you have. I get having ads but please don’t let ads audio interrupt my audio after every turn
Weak defender error?
Dear developer: if two units are on the same square and they are attacked, it seems that the calculation uses the weakest unit to defend, then both units are usually lost. For example, an single archer attacked and defeated a catapult and healthy pikeman in forest. The notification said the catapult lost. There’s no reason the pikeman shouldn’t be used as the defender. Please look in to this possible bug, it seems pretty consistent, but doesn’t seem to effect cities. Also where is information describing trade routes? Thanks.

Superb game - very much like Civilisation 2 from what I can remember and every bit as frustrating when things don’t go your way!
