Test aren’t correct
We had been using the app for my daughter to practice for some local competitions. When she received an error of course and point deduction she was so upset. We watched the video back and she completed the course exactly as learned.
It was then we realised that the app instructions were not correct. They had completely missed a manouvre and she paid the price. Contact the app only to be told as far as they were concerned it was minor and tough luck to her. Absolutely disgusted by their attitude and complete lack of ethics.
Plenty of other more carefully curated apps to learn from, choose any of those

Doesn’t Work
Used to love this app but recently it won’t let me open any of the tests, despite having an active subscription. I’ve even tried to buy a new subscription but it won’t allow me to as it says I have one active!
Good concept, voice recognition shocking
I love the app
However as soon as you’re riding a test and telling it next
I either have to shout start mid test or it pauses or resets
Not ideal when I’m on a novice horse who struggles to relax and o have to keep stopping and starting
I have no help to learn tests so this would need to be improved before I would subscribe

Lifesaver!
I am someone who doesn’t own one of the dressage test books that has each test in. so when I have to do a dressage test I could never find the tests anywhere online . But this app saved me , not only does it provide up to code tests for FREE with NO ADDS but it also provides helpful learning tools like the read aloud speaker and being able to communicate with the speaker when you want each move along with the easy to understand diagrams of each test move , perfectly sectioned labelled test instructions and an area to move your fingers along with the pattern . Completely and utterly amazing! Do not change anything about this app.

Couldn’t be without this App
Dressage Test Pro has taken me from Novice to Advanced and I have just downloaded FEI level.
I couldn’t be without it.
Wake up, middle of the night? Forget counting sheep, learn your next test! ( I know I’m nuts!)
This app covers every method of learning. You can even record your results.
If you have any questions just email, the creators they respond within hours, and they even have a Facebook page.
It helps that one of the creators is a dressage rider and competes. Like me, she found it really difficult to memorise tests, hence the app!
It may seem expensive, though soon pays for itself with the confidence gained through knowing where you’re going in the arena, seeing the floor plan, with or without sound, and I do believe you can now ride with the test being commanded through the app. Obviously not in a test situation, though great for practice.
They keep bringing out additional ideas, and the app is continuing to improve.

Poor User Experience
Why do I have to keep turning the speaker on each time to run a test - you should be able to set this in default ie always on or off? Why can’t the timing be set up to call, each move has the same lag. One way could be to make the app voice respondent using Siri the rider could call ‘Next Move’

This app is brilliant and well thought out!
I entered a last minute competition (two tests) knowing that learning one test is enough 😅!
Following the first test I quickly got my phone out and learned the second test in minutes! The visual aids, where to do your transitions, size of circles etc all worked a treat for me as the judge noted how accurate the test was… all because I saw it visually on the app.

Hi this is okay but needs improvement lots!🤔to start this isn’t as good as the advert says...
You only get 300 credits wich is only the same as 3 tests so if your like me and are out competing every weekend then you need to pay for more and I’m only 12 so I don’t have the money to pay for more credits. So after 3 tests then I think it’s not that great because it just sits in your phone doing nothing unless you pay for more credits.😑🤑 I think it would be a great idea if everyone got more credits but for nowIf you want to get it then go ahead!🤗but personal I would not get it again.😮

Over all improvements are needed and the option to watch someone or a sticker do the test or a video of what u have drawn to make sure u can remember it.🤔

SCAM if you click on same test more than 20 times you get locked out
Think this app is a bit of a scam, you are only allowed 20 tests a month, which sounds amazing until you find out truth!!!!!!!! you are actually only allowed to click on any test 20 tines a month. My son was learning on me of novice tests and a prelim and kept swapping between both tests and in a matter of an hour they are all locked as he used all 20 goes. Please can you change the app to unlimited use of tests per month as your current method is not user friendly and a waste of money! And be more honest in description!

What a fantastic app!
A brilliant app, I would now not be without it! So easy to access dressage tests wherever you are, it doesn’t need internet connection to work which is fab. Quite often I’ve needed to stop mid schooling session to double check a test movement and with this app I can do that in a few seconds. My coach loves it too!

The purchasing options aren’t fair
Its difficult to view the app properly without paying costly subscription fees. And the way you use up the free credit is difficult to keep track off before you’ve used half of it. It should be set up to buy certain tests, not via subscription.

Brilliant app until you run out of credit, I ride across all levels and to renew this would cost me £77 a year ☹️ why not let you buy credit and look at any test like when you start the app. I already purchased all the tests from BD so app deleted.
