Terrible app. Scooters and bikes lock up mid-ride for no reason. App freezes but scooter unlocks and vice verse. Rubbish app and service.

Great cheap transport option
please don’t get rid of Beam scooters from Launceston in Tasmania. They are a great way to get around cheaply when you don’t have a car available.

App has clunky and horrible on my iPhone 17 pro, deducted my money from Apple Pay which then didn’t show on the app, had to muck around getting it sorted. Decided to walk instead. Not a great user experience.

I want to report an extremely negative experience with the Beam app.
I was automatically subscribed to a plan without being clearly informed, with charges exceeding $86. What makes this even worse is that I had already left the city where I was using the scooters, and it was impossible for me to cancel this subscription through the app.
The system is poorly designed: not only is the subscription activated without clear and explicit consent, but it also becomes impossible to manage once you change location. It strongly feels like an intentionally opaque system.
On top of that, the service is very expensive for what it offers. Even with a monthly subscription, the included riding time is very limited. I had to pay additional fees on top of my subscription because I ran out of minutes, making the offer even less worthwhile.
I find this unacceptable. I am tired of apps that push automatic subscriptions without clear disclosure and make them difficult, if not impossible, to cancel.
I strongly do not recommend this app.

saldo saya yang di beam hilang gitu aja, sebelum nya saldo tidak bisa dikembalikan ke e wallet maupun bank, tidak ada juga tulisan atau informasi kalo saldo bisa expired. di daerah saya juga sudah tidak ada beam yang mana saldo tersebut jadi tidak bisa dipakai. aneh bgt saldo bisa hangus.lumayan juga isi nya ada 50k
