Bad experience
I have been with Beauty Pass for 6 years, and in all that time, I have always completed every single requirement for campaigns without issue. This is the one time there was a minor formatting difference: instead of 3 separate stories, I uploaded 2 stories, and one of the required images was included in a collage format rather than as a standalone story. In other words, I did the work, I posted the content, and I uploaded everything. they simply decided it wasn’t in the exact format they wanted.
What’s extremely disappointing is that despite being a loyal long-term member, they immediately chose to penalize me financially rather than show any reasonable understanding over such a minor issue. I even spent time going back and forth with them over email trying to explain the situation, but the only thing that seemed to matter was getting paid.
The most absurd part? The actual business owner of the location I promoted knows me, appreciates the service and exposure I provide, and has always been happy with my work. So being punished by Beauty Pass over a technicality when the actual partner business is satisfied is ridiculous.
This feels less about fairness and more about money. Penalizing loyal members over a minor formatting issue when the promotional work was clearly done is unacceptable. After 6 years, this is how they treat people? Very disappointing.

Bad customer support
Got a penalty that doesn't allow me to book some things because I didn't post a product I NEVER received, 1-2 years ago... the penalty just kicked in. So silly. I pay $20 a month for this. They also have really bad food options - its not comped meals like Neon Coat, its more like an app and a drink for 3 stories which is a lot. And like 1 piece of clothing for a whole Reel lol. Not worth it imo. I've been waiting for better deals to come by but its probably just better to cancel at this point.

I have waited for a reply for a year, sent many emails to which I never got a reply and now my account cannot be accessed. Absolutely disappointed.

I’ve been a signed model for years in multiple different markets and have so many plus size friends who have also been in the market for years and they have all applied to beautypass like 2/3 years ago just like me and none of us have gotten accepted but so many of my skinnier model friends got accepted immediately and it just seems funny that even though i have lost the weight and am now considered a “skinny” model, i still haven’t been accepted even when i’ve been signed to Los angeles, Miami, and Italy to big agencies as well. The app is fatphobic. if they weren’t, we would see some “bigger” models on the app using it as well but clearly there’s a reason you don’t. it’s ridiculous.

Not Helpful - Wouldn’t Suggest
Not helpful when resolving issues and not timely with responding in the support chat. Very disappointing and unhelpful. Won’t be recommending anymore as this has occurred multiple times.
Disrespect team
BeautyPass emailed me calling it a “privilege” to be on their app, but in reality, it’s a mutual exchange, they profit from models while offering minimal respect. They often treat models as if we're just there for free food, rather than recognizing it as a business partnership.
I recommend using Neon Coat instead. They’re far more respectful, and unlike BeautyPass, you can actually get paid for certain gigs through their platform.

No response
I’ve waited two years as a signed model and I have friends with smaller agencies that heard back immediately. I’m now signed to a larger one and have asked to re-submit my application at least but no one responds. I’d love to help out businesses as it’s a really cool model but for some reason no one responds when someone is signed. It’s super frustrating.

Not helpful at all when resolving in-app issues, not timely with answering responses and requests, half the stores have no offers on the app, overall not a great experience whatsoever; highly suggest Neon Coat over this app. Don’t even waste your time with this one models

I have a following of 40k, music artist, professional dancer and model who’s worked with big brands already. Ive been waitlisted for a year now and messaged them on IG to ask how it usually works or how long the wait time is… they have not responded but their IG liked some of my content which I found even more odd and disrespectful.
