About

Benchmark answers one question: how strong are you, really? Not "is 100 kg a good bench" - the answer depends on who you are. Benchmark compares your lifts against published strength standards for your sex, your bodyweight and your age, and tells you the percentile you land in. You bench more than 87% of men in your class. That's a sentence, not a vibe. WHAT YOU GET, FREE - Your percentile for squat, bench press and deadlift, plus an overall score. - A share card built for Instagram Stories and TikTok. Big number, your lifts, your class. Designed to be posted, not to advertise. - Entry in kilograms or pounds. - Sets at submaximal loads. Enter 100 kg for 5 and Benchmark estimates your one-rep max with both the Epley and Brzycki formulas, and shows you both, because they disagree. BENCHMARK PRO - Progress over time. Every percentile you have ever hit, charted, with the moment you crossed each threshold. - Age-adjusted standards. Compared against lifters your own age, not just your weight. - The overhead press, alongside the three competition lifts. - Multiple profiles. HOW THE NUMBERS WORK Your percentile is relative to people who train these lifts, not to the general population. Standards are derived from published strength-standard tables, and the app shows its sources on the Methodology screen. Bodyweight is a continuous scale, not a weight class, so gaining a kilogram never swings your percentile by ten points. Age is applied as a smooth coefficient, so nothing changes on your birthday. Benchmark treats your number as an estimate, and says so. An app that inflates your percentile is worthless the moment you post it in front of someone who knows the sport. PRIVACY No account. No sign-up. No tracking. No analytics. Your lifts live on your device. If you are signed into iCloud they sync to your own private CloudKit database, which nobody else - including the developer - can read.
