Good - could be great
I’ve bought the app and accompanying ODB connector for my daughter’s Mini. The app delivers on the sensor values and error codes reading but it lacks some very basic UI features, for example a simple search or filter for adding sensor values to the log - the list is huge and the names are cryptic, often too long to be fully readable. This would be an easy fix.
Secondly, less technical users would find it helpful to select a predefined set of values they should log, for example ‘Check for timing issues’ or ‘Check common diesel issues’ rather than only providing cryptic labels that mean very little to list people (ie Target camshaft inlet value opens). Much more useful would be some preconfigured sets to health-check certain engine functions and an explanation on what the values mean - is this number healthy or not? How should this number align with that one?
The app gives you the values but zero guidance or actual help with basic diagnostics.
Happy to revise my rating when some updates have been made.

Great app, easy to use. Wish some of the sensor values used regular names not the BMW ones, fuel trims for example took ages to find as they’re “multiplicative mixture adaptations”

Pretty disappointed
Didn’t drive the car for 6 weeks and the CarPlay app is telling me I have no Sensor Values selected. Tried rebooting the phone, disconnecting/reconnecting the phone, deleted/reinstalled the app (really lost all my sensor values now!), added back a test sensor value…CarPlay app still can’t talk to the phone. I’m running iOS 18.5..is that the issue?!?

Cannot connect to xA WiFi adapter
Does not connect to the xA WiFi adapter or E series BMWs. Meanwhile the xHF app works flawlessly with the same adapter and car.

Easy to use
Easy to use and saved me the price of the app the first time I used it. A must have!
Limited functions
This app is lacking features like adaptation clear and various start up and service procedures. This is a very basic code reader and maintenance reset which can be done using Kombi. I would cross shop first before buying.
Not helpful for BMW Mini SE
Garbage. If I wanted an app to read codes and clear them, I could have used a free app. Does not work for any of our BMW MINI’s EV’s even though they’re listed as supported. Can’t monitor 12v or high voltage electric battery, on a 2022, 2023 or 2024 Mini SE. App just says unknown. It basically only clears error codes. A total waste and of course, Apple denied my refund for the app not working as described even though that’s exactly the issue, and I’ve never requested a refund on my account in years. Thanks Apple for that, and thanks to BimmerLink for wasting my $40 for a useless app.

Parking Brake Service Mode
Be aware that PBSM requires full app purchase even though it is not listed with “*****” next to it in the description. Found this out after I was mid-brake job. It said the service mode failed but I heard the motor retract so proceeded with the work. After, service mode deactivated successfully.
