Some severe limitations
* bad fail with classical music: if I search for "Beethoven symphony 6" I get a random selection of movements from numerous albums, so it's tricky to select one album and play the work in its entirety.
Response from developer
Thanks for the detailed report. This is genuinely useful, and I'm sorry for the trouble. 1) Won't run on iOS 17.7: That's a bug, not intended; the app does support 17.6+. I'd really like to fix it for you: please email me at info@iphonesmartapps.org with your exact device model and iOS version, and if possible the crash log (Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Analytics & Improvements ▸ Analytics Data). I'll turn around a fix quickly. 2) Classical / full works: You're right, search currently lists individual tracks, which is painful for multi-movement works. For now, tap any track / "Go to Album" to open the full album and play it in order. Proper album results in search are on my list. Classical deserves better. 3) "Lossless"/"Hi-Res" showing 48 kHz: The badge is the quality Apple Music offers for that track; the 48 kHz you see is iOS's built-in-output limit (iPhone/iPad cap the internal DAC at 48 kHz). To actually play above 48 kHz (Hi-Res Lossless, 96/192 kHz) you connect a USB-C DAC that supports it, and BitPerfect negotiates and locks the higher rate. That's the core purpose of the app. I'll make this clearer in the UI. Thanks again, especially for the 17.7 report; please email me so I can get it fixed.
This makes a real difference!
I tried Lysoniq at the same time. They both improve the sound but, the Bit Perfect sound is better for me. What I don’t understand is why there is a difference!

Thanks a bunch for your feedback! We’re working hard to make the perfect sound, even the tiniest bit perfect, with every update. 😊
