Useless don’t download it. Public transport is very good and Uber is coming.
I gave it a try as in theory uber was not working there yet and I arrived to late for the underground and the experience was not very good.
I did everything it was recommended, auto pay, taximeter, etc, still, you won’t get any taxi if you do not pay priority fees, and then the taximeter is useless as the taxi driver will ALWAYS insert the price he wants, so either you act vigilante and have a fight with the driver telling him he is robbing you or you accept and pay. I did both and it tiring. Don’t bother just take a normal taxi if you need it would exactly the same, you wk t wait at all as they are always there and they will charge whatever they want any ways. The two problems an uber-like app should solve: calling a taxi fast and tracking the route to calculate the payment are not solved in this app.

WORST TAXI APP
Not sure how this app has a high rating, must all be bots. My driver was smoking cigarettes in the car whilst going 112mph with HANDS off the wheel. I felt very unsafe and contacted the app THREE times with my case being closed with no response. This app is a SCAM and the bitaksi people will NOT respond and will close your case. I told them about how my driver overcharged me, about the smoking, about the toll being incorrect in the app too (all in Turkish so they can understand) and it just says ‘your case has been finalised’. No email no nothing. 65 euros for a short trip.

No screening
Cars in very bad condition and the drivers are worse. Opted to use this app thinking the drivers would be better as they go through some sort of screening but I don’t think so. One of the worst taxi experiences.
Too many cancels
If connection is close i noticed too many cancalation
SCAMMERS AVOID
They will pick you up and either extend the route so you pay more. Also when you get in the car they will tell you the system has crashed so you have to pay cash. If you pay card they add 25% commission. AVOID

Doesn’t work, have tried several times on several locations around Oludeniz and keeps saying errors or problems with the app. Or can’t find drivers . Waste of time
A total Scam
The app gives you an estimate. For instance for our last trip, it said between 360 to 420 Lira. The taxi used a taximeter which at the end of the trip was around 400, but the driver charged us more than 1100 Lira. He kept speaking in Turkish aggressively and showed us another number on the meter. I filed a compliant on the app, after a day or two, it simply said "your request has been finilized" without any response, any result and even an ability to click on the complaint to view it!

What’s the point?
I was under the impression that this app operated like Uber. To my great surprise, the final price was 25% higher than the one reflected in the app order originally. You will be charged by the meter regardless of what was displayed. There were plenty of taxis in the airport and I could’ve saved myself time instead of uploading and registering with this app. Don’t waste your time and get a regular cab.

Be Aware
The problem with this app is the driver enters the amount manually and most drivers charge extras.
Estimated fare is a unreliable..
Fare was estimated to 600 to 1000 liras, but it became 1490 liras.. Card payment didn’t work on the app. There was an error. Had to do manual card payment that ended up being 1780 liras with surcharge.. Not happy

I came with my sick wife to Turkey for treatment, but most of the drivers scamming us which makes our trip more miserable, whenever i tried to contact the support and send them about what happened. 100% ignoring us. Most of the time almost we are having a fight and calling the cops or the embassy.

This is the worst taxi service in Istanbul. Avoid at every cost
Over charged by Bitaksi Scammers
I booked taxi from Istanbul airport to Taksim. They showed me price on bitaksi taxi app between 1700L to 2600L and at End they were charged me 3905L. But taxi meter was 2900L it’s big scams by bitaksi company. I think uber more save ride and your money too. It’s Shame for bitaksi taxi drivers and company. Istanbul taxi scammers holidays travellers don’t recommend this company

Drivers tell me to pay more!!! I paid, and the app support dose not respond till today for this.
Fraud! They keep charging my card after paying cash. Avoid this app.
Avoid this app — they will charge your card for rides you paid in cash, and keep charging it after you remove it.
I used Bitaksi three times in Istanbul. The first ride I paid by credit card through the app — no issues. For the next two rides I selected “Cash” in the app and paid the driver directly. The app confirmed cash payment both times.
Two weeks later, both of those cash rides appeared on my credit card statement as “PARAM / BITAKSI MOBIL T” — for the exact amounts I had already paid the driver. I contacted Bitaksi and they insisted my card had not been charged, even though the charges were plainly visible on my statement.
I disputed the charges with my bank and removed the card from the Bitaksi app entirely.
About a week later — by which point I was no longer in Istanbul and hadn’t used the app in nearly a month — I was charged again! With the card supposedly removed and no recent rides, there was no legitimate reason for this charge to exist. I ended up cancelling the card outright, which is a serious inconvenience when you’re travelling in Europe with a US-issued card.
Three rides, three billing problems. Use a different app.
