Great game! 1 suggestion

This game is fun! I see some other reviews mention how the game is new and is open to ideas for new content. I haven’t gotten very far yet so unless this is already in the game and I’m maybe just unaware of it.. it would be cool at certain progress thresholds where you unlock new “levels” or “worlds” maybe where there’s a “world map” that you get to new level points which takes certain progress to unlock and get further in the game.

Each level could then have its own unique looking skin and maybe different background music or theme. Just a suggestion to break up the monotony of looking at 2 skins with the same motherboard hum the whole time. It would make the player be curious what the next level or world looks like and want to continue progress.

Good luck with this new game, it’s got great potential 👍

Thank you, this is a good suggestion and I have written it down. Some of it is already in there, just not signposted: Recompile, ESCALATE and the motherboard are progress thresholds that each change how the whole board plays. There are also more skins than the two you have seen (they are earned rather than sold). But "each stage looks different" is the part I have not done, and you are right that it would give you something to be curious about. On music I will be honest: I left it out on purpose. An idle game sits open for hours, and a loop is the first thing people mute. The ambient hum is meant to be wallpaper rather than a soundtrack. What I am going to look into is scenarios and puzzles that add to the universe of progression and to the story of the AI you are training. Giving each of those its own look and its own sound bed is a genuinely good idea, and I will do my best to incorporate it. Thanks for playing, and for taking the time to write this up.

Great game

I wish there was more to do but I understand that the game just came out but I see the potential. I hope this game can grow into something amazing! Devs just stick with it.

Thank you for the honest review! I do read all these reviews and emails to support@isak.tech to straight to my phone. I will take any and all suggestions seriously! Let me know what you think would be a fun addition. I have ideas but hearing from players help guide me and help me prioritize certain features over others! Right now I’m exploring avenues of how to add more actual features / content rather than just new “upgrade” menus. So suggestions to explore would be great! Plus I do give out promo codes / beta invites to those interested which comes with game skins. Either way, thank you for the awesome review!

Game locked by upgrade

Would be good but a bug ruins it completely. Game bug completely shuts down all progress. If you use NVDIMM upgrade the tile becomes completely locked and can no longer be merged or deleted. If you don’t have enough room to merge blocks to reset the board then your save is permanently stuck. It’s really easy to do as well because there is no explanation and you would obviously test the upgrade you just purchased. If you test the upgrade immediately after buying it then your save is instantly ruined. This is not a rare bug or hard to access. It would lock almost every player if they are not aware of it beforehand.

Update: the fix is live now in 2.0.62. Grab the update and your save should unstick itself. You had it exactly right. When you fault a tile back in from NVDIMM it takes a board cell and can never merge, and on a small board that puts Recompile permanently out of reach. Recompile now asks for the tier your board can actually still build, so it opens back up the moment you update. Thank you for writing it up so clearly, that’s what let me find it. Sorry it cost you a save! (Ps that beta invite still stands, support@isak.tech)

Fun

I don’t know what’s it is but this game is really fun and I like that things keep happening even while you’re not playing

Response from developer

Thanks! I’m still working a few kinks outs, and taking suggestions for improvements! Feel free to throw suggestions my way at support@isak.tech! Thank you for taking time to review my game!

Good but glitch

Good game, has been fun, but I’m stuck without a TB and unable to fuse to get it because there is a lock in the corner of one of my blocks which doesn’t let it do anything. Please patch this or otherwise help me get rid of it.

Response from developer

Update: 2.0.62 is live. Grab the update and that board should free itself up, no starting over. That lock marks a tile you brought back from NVDIMM. It can’t merge, so it quietly costs you a cell and puts TB out of reach. Recompile now asks for the tier your board can actually still build, so the requirement drops to something you can reach. Sorry it caught you, and thank you for the honest review! Email support@isak.tech if anything still looks stuck.

Combines block puzzles with power ups

I was a little skeptical when I first started playing this game, but I quickly got addictive and then lost two days of my life.

Response from developer

Thank you! "Lost two days of my life" is the best review I could ask for. If you've got suggestions or feedback to make the game better, find me on Bluesky (@isak.tech) or at support@isak.tech. I read everything. Enjoy, and sorry about your calendar!
