WORST APPS EVER
This is by far the worst banking apps I have ever use .
The app constantly shows “system maintenance” or “no connection” even though I am connected to a strong home Wi-Fi network. At the same time, all other apps work perfectly fine, so this is clearly an app issue.
After finally logging in, the app is unable to proceed with any transaction. The worst part is that I can’t even log out properly. I have to force close the app, and when I try to log in again, it shows “last login did not exit properly” and forces me to wait 15 minutes before trying again.
I repeated this process over 2 hours, and still could not complete a single transaction.
This app is unreliable, poorly designed, and extremely frustrating for a banking application where reliability is critical. Completely unacceptable.

I would not recommend using CIMB bank for business account, this app keep crashing, making every process slow and complicated.
Even on the website there’s no Chat box for customer support, the webpage is loading speed is slow, their whole technology need an huge update.

Why the system is always unavailable. Years and still no improvement at all such a nuisance to settle important matters.
Worst customer service in online business center calls
I called 3 times to solve the issue. Long call first. Second 7 minutes and call get disconnected. And another 1 minute, call get disconnected. They don’t prefer to take your number to avoid call get disconnected.
By far the worst banking app in Malaysia today
Difficult navigation, not user-friendly. Very poor UX/UI. Transactions fail for no reason. Stuck in the dark ages - has not been updated in years. Definitely developed by a team who are not digital first. And a reflection of the overall banking leadership - tone-deaf to the banking needs of customers today.

Lack of Functions & Secure Features
The App is still lacking functionality that need a lot of follow up calls and visit the banks. At current AI level and status, the App is considered at very early stage user interface. Bank need to improve the functionality and add further services at fingering tip. Security Features can be improved within App for easy password creation and changes. Limited access to accounts and transactions and user verification feasibility tor business transactions.

Alot of buds in the banking app, failed to identify even after logged out, it will pause u from logging in again

In order to view any transaction including the latest transaction, require user to click more than 5 steps. This is unnecessary, make user life difficult to check the latest transaction to verify if the payment is received took user more than 2 minute to do so. Especially during urgent moment this super frustrating, non of any other bank have such interface require user to take so much effort to view the transaction

Can’t share nor save transaction status into pdf in app
In the apps cannot share or save transaction receipt into pdf , after making transfer we have to go to the web version to save the transaction receipt. Troublesome and doesn’t make sense not all can be done in app, not convenient.
Worst banking app
If you run a business, do not hope this app will be efficient, continuous crashes, the stupid 15 min wait to re log in. This app doesn’t deserve the 1 star even. They should fire the entire app development team. If you can, do not use it. Or do not hope it will be working when you need it too.
OUTDATED, POOR USABILITY, UNCLEAR INTERFACE
I have faced numerous difficulties while using the app. A major issue is with the FPX payment process. When attempting to make a payment, the app does not display the required bank account number. As a result, even when I manually enter the account number, the app still fails to process the payment. The app's interface is also confusing and unclear. This leads to a very uncomfortable user experience and takes significantly longer to complete banking tasks that should be straightforward. Additionally, every time I need to print a transaction slip, I am required to manually enter the transaction number. This adds unnecessary steps and makes the process cumbersome. CIMB BizChannel needs substantial improvements in both functionality and interface. Technical issues like the failure to display account numbers, problems with the FPX payment process need to be resolved urgently. Without addressing these issues, the app will continue to be a challenge for users who rely on it for their business transactions.

Very outdated
I’m using other 2 bank app for business and unfortunately CIMB app is the worst one.
Sharing payment receipt required screenshot, we can’t see on time/ daily transaction in the app, DuitNow payment always have an issue, I can’t find my favourites when you type it- so I have to scroll instead. List goes on and on.
Hoping one day this will be improved.

Bad experience overall
Pros: Clean user interface. Doesn’t take me a while to figure out where everything is. The app also run smoothly. Transactions are made easier compared to using the web version.
Cons: Doesn’t have a way to see money in, which requires me to use the web version to download account statement instead and even then, doesn’t show today’s transaction. Another problem is, during transaction where I need to put the OTP number to confirm payment, there were a couple of times where the app just keeps loading indefinitely after I press confirm and there’s no way to go back to previous screen or refresh the page. The only thing to do is to just force quit the app, which causes me to wait 15 minutes to log back in because I’m still logged in to the previous session. This is infuriating because it’s such a waste of time. And I don’t see this issue being fixed because every update is just performance improvment.

TRANSACTION STATUS FAILED
Overall apps user friendly. But please upgrade transaction status so we can check money in also instead of money out only. Its take my time to keep open my laptop for the website.
Too much hassle with outdated token
So troublesome with their token, and 2 units. Make a simple transaction need to key in this and that, can’t do everything on phone. If I travel and want to make transactions, I still have to carry this token device. So outdated. CIMB need fresh blood no ah Pek to develop business app
UPGRADE SYSTEM
Now, in 2023, the app still lacks progress, constantly crashes, has issues with DuitNow, and when trying to transfer, it can get stuck loading. When making complaints, they blame it on telco line / or bec using wifi. Wotakkk dia
IOS 17.1 Unable to Login

When can update your apps? I unable to login since update to IOS 17.1, is difficulties at work!
Tried to called customer service but they said I’m using beta version so it’s not supported yet?!
But I’m using IOS 17 beta before launching also no issues how come now face this issue? 😤🙃

Fees like an app done in early 2000
Understand CIMB is taking an initiative to tighten the security of business account by adding additional security feature by using this app, but the whole user experience is really bad. Website log in and token needs does not sync seamlessly, u need to try multiple time before the OTP can be produced for log in. And one u are log in, it takes multiple try before u can actually approve task and transaction. Please look into it as it’s 2023 today, it feels like year 2000 when I use this app.
