Offers

There seems to be a delay in offers coming through, sometimes there’s nothing showing when you open the app. Also if you’re not staring at your phone with your finger in the swipe position it’s hard to accept an offer it will be gone already. I think the offers should be sent to you like uber.

Limited ride Availability and Poor Support

As a chauffeur with Blacklane, my experience has been very disappointing. We pay very high costs for commercial insurance and expensive vehicles, but in the last eight months I only completed 4 rides. The company usually pays around $80–$85 per ride, and when a customer requests a trip, the request is sent to all chauffeurs at the same time, so the chances of actually getting a ride are very low.

Another major issue is customer service. Whenever you contact support, they rarely solve the problem. Most of the time they just send copy-and-paste responses and sometimes provide incorrect or misleading information.

Overall, I do not recommend working with this company as a chauffeur.

Worst company ever

Stay away if you are thinking of joining Blacklane. When you accepted a ride and need to giveback less then 24h you have to pay 40% up to 100%. Watch out instead of making money you are paying for other drivers and they get 100% profit from customer. Even if you get 1000 5 stars in a row and 1 BS customer give you a bad review you get no offers for next 3-4 months. Worst pay ever $180 ride you get like $80 then paying tolls and others you left with nothing. After working like a month you see earning like 5,000 then fines like 4000 you don’t even have enough for gas. No job offer after a BS customer review like for not safe driving or anything. Why the other 1,000 pax didn’t write a bad review or even a 4 stars. Do not drive for them you be working for free.

Screen dimming

Screen keeps dimming! Pls fix so that it stays on all the time

It’s a bit annoying. That offers comes first three second later notifications appears up and also there should be option to reduce not notification volume on iPhone.

Poor App Interface

Interface is so white and bright makes it difficult to read Ride offers with small texts.
Ride Class backgrounds colour has been removed and not readable.
Please also add rides requiring Child Seat to be Filtered.

Feature and updates

I previously posted review about adding same features on android and web as iPhone app. But now with new update you can’t see ride miles in the front I have to click the ride and see how many miles it is and by the time I check the ride is gone

drivers have expensive luxury vehicles in millions dollar policy insurance got very cheap price from jfk to city suv vehicles prices is $80 drivers pay toll gas in parking going inside pickup waiting for guest driver works for free totally wasting time 2hours in JFK same thing is LaGuardia to city suv $60 crazy from Jfk to New Jersey suv $90 got paycheck after a monthly also with out any complaints your rate is going down because they don’t have much trips and blame drivers u didn’t make more trips driver will be make trip if you give them more trips and better price if you want to work for free that is good for you

Excellent app easy to navigate

Majority staff works very well. The only complaint I have I wish has day and night mode to see better at daytime. Hopefully you can add at some point to have a white background for drivers to see

Partners are being treated unfair

We have been around for many years with this service. The new regulations and tier status for partners made blacklane completely unreliable companies with more than 3 cars. We receive penalty of hundreds of euros because a client forgets an item on the car and even though we bring it back blacklane charges service improvements on Partners even though the client rates 5*.

Prices are below average.

They use everything against a partner to increase revenue, and often breaking laws.

Not recommended

2 stars only because of the good experience with clients.

Rides Are being assigned straight to others

As soonest a Ride comes in it’s being assigned to others without having a Chance to Even Check it. Like sixt Ride. The prices are Not reasonable. I would Suggest all Chauffeur companies to run their own Website instead of driving around with expensive vehicles for uber prices. Dylan you know there is about 50% Commission Kept by Blacklane Right ? Thats 1€ net per km in Germany you guys pay your Partners. And that’s the half of a regular yellow Cab with a Sport Outfit non German or English Speaking Driver with a Toyota corolla. Pro Chauffeur with a high end Limousine and suit with Perfect English skills and Meeting all the required things should earn a Bit more don’t you think? Selling Rides for 2,20€ per km net and paying out 1€ is really not acceptable. That’s why Blacklane often ends up with cancelling because Nobody is willing to accept that Ride
Or You will have quality Like uber but with high end Cars. But remember a good Chauffeur Service is Not only Done by a high Class vehicle

New update is very confusing

Due to the recent app update where we dont see any trip info (e.g city, state miles) unless you tap on the ride and that open a new tab and by the time i accept the offer it disappears. If there is an update that can change this, or if i can go back to the older version because as i understand this is not a global update its only for a select number of drivers that see this new update.

Peor aplicación para drivers

Por lo menos aquí en Miami, peor aplicación de rides que he conocido, siempre el driver es el culpable por la pésima o inexistente información del viaje reservado, no existe información en tiempo real del cliente , tienen que mejorar mucho para estar a la altura, no tienen idea como es el funcionamiento de los puertos y aeropuertos, te puedes ganar fácilmente una mala calificación aún no siendo el culpable, en resumen la peor aplicación para un driver
