I love this app
I have loved this ab since it came out so many years ago. It’s one of the few, if not the only app I know of that allows clockface instructions. Which are really the only directions I’m really good at.
Unfortunately in iOS 27 I’m noticing some weird issues with the buttons at the top of the screen, the tools, the other button that’s actually what the labels is with voiceover. They’re not opening or working so I wanted to let you know because this app is too good to have those not working. I’ve tried this with iOS 27 and iOS 27.2 beta which is what I’m currently on. Thank you for all you do.

First of all, I thank you giving 5 stars even when the app fails :) I have found the source of the problem and fix is under away.
Used to be good, now cannot access things
Edit, in response to dev: The navigation is fine, however, this, too is not working. I cannot select things, including the "Tools" or the "Other" next to it, as well as the "Plan a rout". VO will not activate any of these, despite double-tapping. All these are separate.
Original review: I used to use this app several years ago, and then, I could access all the settings and such, track places, plan routes... Now... less so. Double-tapping "tools", "other", and "plan a rout" don't do anything. There's more buttons that aren't working, as well. I asked for a refund from Apple, got it, gave it a month, saw there was an update, re-purchased it, and now am going to have to request a refund again, and I don't know if they'll approve.

Ok, now I understand. This was due to some changes in iOS 27. I have done fixes and next version will certainly bring these features back.

I really love this app a whole lot! It’s one of my favorite apps.

Doesn’t work the way it once did
This was my go to app for blind travel and it was always a five star app but something has changed and I can no longer give it the recommendation that I once did. I have used this app for many years but it does not seem to provide as much information about my surroundings as it did. What has changed? Also, I’ve noted that people talk about the cost of this app. I have never paid for it and there are no charges to download it in the App Store. Am I getting reduced functionality because I don’t pay? Why is this? I’m looking for answers from the developer.

Awesome app!
Hello BlindSquare team! This app is very helpful! While writing this review, I just got the app maybe only for an hour but I am already amazed. Awesome job! Keep this up!
Rip off
I was charged for this app, even though I did not purchase it. I cannot find any way to get a refund.

Update the restaurant menus
Love using this app, but honestly when I showed it to the pizza place that I live near, they told me that the menu was not updated and I felt silly, but I think whoever puts the menus to the places like restaurants probably needs to hear this feedback and maybe update the menu pricing by probably contacting the place of business Because how are we as blind people supposed to know what’s updated and what’s not

Great GPS app!
I always use this app when I leave the house. A big part is knowing what street is coming up and how far away it is. I always like to know that. Also, if I’m going to a specific address, it can tell me the addresses as I’m getting closer to where I’m going. I use it every day and think it’s fabulous!

Not happy with this app at all
To hear to speech synthesizer’s talking at the same time is a bit much. I have sensory overload and that can be a bit of a toll. I thought this would help and it doesn’t. I can’t even log into my Swarm account. I put in the right password so that I could link this but apparently I can’t. This app made a lot of improvement in my personal opinion. This is why I gave it a one star review. I’m hoping to talk to the developer so that maybe there would be a demo of the app before you buy it instead of spending the $39.99 for it. I got this app on my phone and was immediately displeased with it.
