Good choice

Hi, I am grateful for this app. It has made blogging easy and affordable. Something tangible in a world were everything seems far away. One question I did have though. No complaint. I was just wondering if the view count is counting when I preview my page. Just want to know if it’s actual people checking out my page or is it counting me. God bless!

Thank you so much — comments like yours truly mean a lot! 🙏 Great question about view counts! Blogger does count your own visits by default, so previewing your page can inflate the numbers a bit. The best way to see only your real audience is to check Google Analytics if it’s linked to your blog — it gives a much cleaner picture of who’s actually visiting. Not worth the cost.

Wish I hadn’t bought it. I hoped it would help me update my blog more efficiently but it’s actually more cumbersome than just using the blogger website, especially if you have lots of photos you want to include. This app is really not worth the cost, which isn’t trivial.

Can’t add images or edit text

I used to blog before, when blogger was launched. The app is not friendly. I can’t format the review, I can’t add images, I can’t add videos.

Everything is paid. I am not even getting any revenue. You can charge the bloggers , deduct the amount when they make money.

Why does a blogging app need a subscription?

This app is good and all, and as well it’s financially backed by Google. However the only, and absolute worst part of this app, is actually writing the blogs. On Ipad, the Apple Keyboard integration is miserable. For some reason, the arrow keys don’t actually move where you type in any direction, instead guiding you around the interface. You, and if you disagree please shoo, NEVER need to use the arrow keys to navigate the interface. You have a touchscreen for a reason here, guys. As well, after typing around 100 words, the app PREVENTS you from writing another character without buying a subscription to the app. If this app is financially backed by Google, why do we need to subscribe to use the app? Due to everything I’ve seen from this app, I only have to assume that this app is coded by a group of two guys, who learned english as a second language, and are also learning how to code while in the process of making the app. I’d rather Ipad not have Blogspot than people ever having to suffer from this misery of an attempt at an Ipad available Blog app. If you are going to advertise yourself as the real deal, you better actually try and match up to the real deal. Genuinely horrific experience, never pick up coding again if this is the best of what you can produce.

Can be a better design!

I think it should also include traffic analytics, and the analytics should have a unique and visually appealing design. Also, whenever we create a post, there should be an option to add a search description.
