A very useful app for diabetes management

Only 2-factor authentication is possible

No alternative e-mail signup

Diabetic Log Book

All you have to do is type numbers in very simple 👍👍😊😊

Does not sync with Apple Health app

I had been adding data for long time. However, I can’t sync the information with Apple Health even after repeated tries.

No settings, no way to view anything but the enter page

I got the premium for free but it says I need to enable

…two factor verification and I don’t want to enable that. Disappointing

Diabetic Tracker

Like so far, but when you try to record insulin amount your held to one digit, so that’s the problem that needs fixing to make app 5 stars.

Forced Sign-in, forced two-factor authentification

App doesnt even work unless you grant it access to your Apple sign-in PLUS also requires two factor authorization and does not work unless you change system settings. I have Two-factor OFF for deliberate reasons. Dealbreaker flop app.

Forced sign up

It’s tracking numbers and I’m sick of everything thinking we need to “sign up” just for usage. It’s a data mining tactic that I have no respect for. iCloud exists so not losing data isn’t a thing if basic app coding for apple is followed. No need for an app to want an account beyond data mining or being bad at device math. Hard pass.

W/the login a deal breaker for more {it seems} again I wonder why the no option?

I too prefer to create my own login & not sure how I will be able to use this as a shared app {SO is Type 2. I & his Dr need to access his info as he travels} bc of the login. However I still have right to not be tracked just as every other app so that’s not a fair critique when rating the app. I plan on asking developer why not the option as other apps have done. The info the dev collects is no more than other related apps. Now the app: 1: Ease of use & the drop menu that covers all the basics. For those whose diabetes require very detailed, precise or high doses, this app would not provide all you need. My SO diabetic health is {blessedly} under control, not complicated by other factors so this app checks all the boxes. It’s ease of use while notating all the needed info ensures my SO uses it. 2: If this app syncs w/not just Cloud but across all devices I will update to 5 ⭐️ 3: The dev has been consistent in updating, etc. so they seem vested in it. Given the nature of the app that attention is extremely important to the user.

Doesn't Work for Long-Term Diabetics

I have had Type I diabetes for almost 60 years. This means that at least my long-term insulin requires double digit doses, and the app does not allow them.

The app is inadequate for anyone requiring more than single types of insulin and/or higher doses than 9 units.

Good app but not syncing with Apple Health

I’ve purchased the remove ads feature with apple health sync. But it’s not syncing with the apple health app.
Please solve this issue.

Logging Issues

Being unable to log more than 9 units of insulin at a time makes this not very useful for those with high insulin resistance.

Ad!!!

Ad in an app which was paid premium to disable ads.

Fix please.

Response from developer

I will have a look, please wait for the next release, it will be fixed by this week.

Why login?

Download it. Wanted to test it. Wants nme to login with Apple. Thank you - NO. My data is my data. Not yours. As a developer, show me that you deserve my trust. Don't just assume. Deleted it. Rated it one star. That's it.

Response from developer

We will never be able to identify you, if you logged in with apple. As apple do mot share any email id or any other information with us. Login is required so we can save your data. Anyway if you choose “do not track” in the next step we will not even send data to our analytics tools also. I hope this justified your concern.

Login required

Downloaded the app, saw the request to track across the internet, saw the login requirement, deleted app.

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback, If you login with apple we will not have your email or any other information to identify you, Login is required to save your data only.

Very smooth & useful app

Since I started using the app I have a much clearer view of how good or bad my diabetes is. For me the monster is unnecessary, I enjoy the points system, helps me to keep up the necessary BSL tests. I find the ease of entry of feelings good.

Easy to understand app

I have tried other diabetes app earlier, it is the simplest app
