Cool Idea, Seems Like a Beta Testing Phase
Love the idea but had a horrible time with the actual product. Like many others have said, it’s a bit misleading as you have to lay still to get a reading worth anything. The app was insanely glitchy and would get stuck “calibrating” all the time. I seriously felt like I was helping a company beta test a product that wasn’t yet ready for the market! Don’t waste your money.

Waste of money
I wanted this to work so badly but it was a horrible waste of money. It constantly sensed contractions when I wasn’t feeling one (I knew what they felt like, I had a ton of Braxton Hicks) and then, once labor started (totally different feeling contraction) it was missing contractions. Truly this is garbage and I’m sorry I wasted my money on it.

DO NOT GET THIS - ANXIETY INDUCING
I just woke my husband at 4AM and we drove to the hospital because this device told me I was 15-18 contractions PER HOUR for 5 hours. I’m 33 weeks & a first time mom, so this was terrifying to me. I came up to labor and delivery and they have not detected a SINGLE CONTRACTION. I’m not happy at all and will be returning it this week. This is a scammmmmmm beyond scams. We’re data nerds and this thing is trash. If you didn’t have anxiety before, you will after wearing this monitor.

Not good enough
1. HUGE CON: It confuses contractions with baby movements. My ob gyn compared with her monitors.
2. You have to be seated very still to work; even if you are eating something or drink water, it starts to have trouble reading.
3. It takes too long to calibrate.

Difficult to return
I’m not sure where else to review this but here. I didn’t actually use the monitor or the app. As soon as the device arrived I read all of the instructions and realized that the company made it extremely difficult to return. I started the return process immediately so I wouldn’t have to worry about it while I have a newborn. Customer friendly companies will include a return label, a box and stickers to seal it shut with. I already know that I am not going to have time to find a place to print out a label, buy packing tape and go to the post office. I started the return process yesterday and I have yet to hear from anyone at the company or be emailed the return label. It seems like they’re trying to get extra money out of you while you struggle to make a return and care for a newborn.
