Mark books finished or return them to listening, and replace cover art yourself. - Import from Dropbox, with resumable cloud downloads and more reliable account connections. Audiobookshelf is now out of beta. - Share book recommendations, export bookmarks as Markdown, and ask Siri to save a bookmark hands-free. - Last Moments and What Did I Miss? recaps now have a polished reading experience, clearer recovery when Apple Intelligence is unavailable, and optional quality feedback. - Playback is more dependable, including end-of-book recovery, chapter selection, speed-aware time remaining, and more reliable Lock Screen, Control Center, CarPlay, and widget behavior. - Captions now stay hidden when unavailable and can be turned off. Transcription navigation, multi-file chapter repair, and transcript preservation are also improved. - Accessibility, error messages, and stability have been improved throughout Bloox.

Best player I’ve found

I’ve been looking for a way to listen to my audiobooks for a while and tried a lot of different apps. This one has been the best by far. I like that it will break files into 15min chapters. And I can upload directly from Google Drive. I’d like to be able to hide the stats at the top and manually reorder my books but that’s a minor thing and doesnt really impact my experience too much.

Impressive features.

So many things I never thought to ask for in a player because I was satisfied with the features I had from the default players. Identifying characters. Recap. Follow along text. Asking questions before I go to book club.
It’s worth switching from the comfortable player you are used to using. This is better.

Amazing audiobook player

Worth every dollar I didn't pay for it! Has lots of creature comforts like transcription (love that it's on-device!), session stars, good configurability and chapter nav. Especially love that it has CarPlay integration! Thanks so much.

I love it!

I’ve tried a few audiobooks readers and have since deleted them. I’m reading my liberated audiobooks stored in iCloud. For a free app, this has a lot of useful features, including skipping and rewinding (choosing the number of seconds), choosing which chapter to read, bookmarks, etc. I love that I can see the words as the book is read (they’re not always accurate but I get the gist). I love the appearance inside. That’s just a few!
