Thank you for this wonderful app blossom. It is so easy to use. I take pictures of all my plants and what rooms they’re in which is a great feature. That way I can keep them organized and it tells me when to water them and went to fertilize them, this is the best
DON’T GET THEIR TRIAL SUBSCRIPTION!
I tried out their trial subscription, canceled after 5 days on Apple as advised, but then got billed their ridiculous weekly rate. They « apologized « and told me to go to Apple to settle the charge without even offering to step in. Of course Apple refused to refund the money even though I have proof that I had cancelled in due time. BIG THUMBS DOWN to both Blossom and Apple on this. If you don’t want to get swindled don’t even try out this app!

So that I can get half-accurate advice on caring for house plants? No thanks- I’ll stick with any of the other apps that give that info for free. Deleting this app and never downloading it again. Way to ruin a great idea with greed.
A Great Guide and Resource
Specific watering tips are most helpful providing signs of over and under watering.
Syncing fertilization days with watering days would be helpful to those of us using liquid fertilizer. (Currently, I look ahead to determine best time to fertilize.)
Plant identifier is very helpful and a time saver.

Sick of apps claiming “Free”or “in app purchases”
I am so over being charged for an app or tricked into downloading it. If you can only use the app with a free trial then it should state the apps price and not say “Free” or “in app purchases”. it’s misleading and is wrong in every sense of the word. big tech is about money money money.

I really like and all but when I was trying to find a way to get rid of it I deleted it and when I logged back on I couldn't find the plants I had but it still said that I had all 3 spaces up

Not suited for hot desert climates.
I love this app, all except one major gap. I live in Arizona and the temperatures during much of the year are much higher than the top range in the app. Therefore the schedule for watering isn’t accurate as calculated by the app. Everything has to be manually adjusted. Also many desert plants are not found in this app.

Try the other app. Much more user friendly and accurate. Aldi the other app doesn’t lead you down the garden path ££££ literally 👀

The camera is not free, so you have to search for two hours, name of the plant you don’t know..
Misidentification
Im not sure about the overall features of this app, but my very first plant was misidentified and was correct when using a much much cheaper app, therefore I will not be subscribing as I have no confidence in the identification.
Vote of no Confidence
First time I use this app, I took a picture of some broccoli I have growing in my garden. I’m not sure when it is supposed to be ready to cut so I decided to look it up using Blossom and after taking two photos and uploading them, it told me it was cabbage.
There’s not an easy way to dispute that you either accept it or you have to go to another page and cancel it out. My confidence level with this app drop like a hot potato!

Great app — so helpful
This app rocks! It reminds me to water my plants (which is necessary for me to keep them alive! lol) It also allows me to keep a detailed record of my plants’ names, who was propagated from whom, when I last repotted them, the colour of their blooms (I grow mostly Christmas and Easter cacti), photos of their growth progress and when to fertilize them. It also helps me figure out what might be the issue if they get sick. It is worth every single penny.
